[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

Colin smiled, "Yes, motivation can be hard to maintain. All the same, learning is not so much an action as a state of mind; studying is often hard to motivate oneself for, but you are always observing things and learning, even if it doesn't quite register consciously."

"I guess you are right about that Sir bt if you do not manage to motivate yourself to doing something or take part then observing and learning gets allot harder as well, though I guess we all learn some all the time."
Avery said and sigh.

He nodded, "I... ah, that would be difficult and dangerous, but not impossible..."

"Well if she is this old recruiting her for the Traditions would be a boon, she would be able to bring tremendous power to the table, power that would be useful against our enemies."
Crexia said.

He nodded, "Not an Infernalist, not Fallen, just a worshipper of Lilith who ran afoul some rather Jewish interpretations of scripture... Later, yes, I will swing by before I leave with Anna."

"Yes indeed Bahari where branded as infernalists earlier though now a days many Verbena openly worship Lillith and they believe her to have been the very first Awakened mage, the first of the Wyck."
Crexia said and nodded.
"I will see you then and we can discuss it in more details."
She agreed.

He arched an eyebrow, voice very carefully neutral, "Yes, well, that would be rather a dangerous gambit when a Senior Quaesitor is involved. I do believe there are a number of laws regarding such matters..."

"There are more ways to take someone down that going at them with spells or a blade Mr Wainwright, sometimes the game of politics can be turned against the very ones who hide behind their political power."
Philippa said and gave a bit of a dark, knowing smile.

He nodded, then grinned, "Poor Dr. Lee, I'm afraid Anna and I will give him a series of ulcers - me with temporal shenanigans, and her with her relationship with his little sister... Ah, that'll come in its own time, of course."

"Your ehm...issues with time and his sister having a relationship with a rehabilitated Nephanda, yes I can see how that would...upset your Cabalmate, my own magickal family where not best pleased when I met Ir...not just a Hermetic but a former Nephandus, and I fear I have had the same concerns for Kristina and her...husband."
Philippa said and frowned.
"Accepting such relationships can be hard when one worries about one's loved ones."

He paused for a moment, "By the way, you've met my Cabalmate Adley, and I presume you might have met my Security Chief, Jeffry Morgan Hermes bani Flambeau, at some point... I don't suppose you have any recommendations for restoring hair colour? I... may have caused some early greying..."

"I briefely met Mr Roth Hicks as for Master Morgan I have dueled him at a Tribunal once actually, a good will match mind your not over a conflict. Duel Arcane with the point where to push the other into the Umbra and lock them out from returning through the Gauntlet...an interesting match though I did loose I believe I made it dificult for him, he is a good man."
The old Verbena said.
"Try to go easy on him and yes I can fix any hair color he desire though given his age I am not so sure early graying would be the right term."
She said with a chuckle.

He smiled and got out of the way of the reunion, and waited until addressed, "You are quite welcome, Mrs. Piti - and please, call me Colin. Before I... request a reward, I would like to introduce the two of you to Anna as her clever aunties, if that's quite acceptable to you?"

"Colin then, if you please call me Harmony."
The Cultist said and smiled.
"I would be most interested to meet your young apprentice, both me and Heather."
She said as she took her wife's hand lovingly in hers.
"Please lead the way, if now was an apropriate time."

[Nicole] (In the old auto shop at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

Nicole ran a professional eye over the kit; you could never have too many workbenches, and that saw was a fair bit better than the relic she had. But simply made a mental note of it; hopefully there would be enough time later to remove them...

"One of the guys at my Chantry have a truck I could ask him if he could help you get what you want bback to your place Miss."
Violet offered seeing how you looked around.

'If you like, make sure you get it cleaned up before use, yeah?' she commented on seeing Violet with the blade.

"Thank you Miss, yes off course, cleaned, polished, sharpened and spirutally cleansed for Resonances, off course."
Violet smiled a little as she apraised the knife knowingly.
"Unless you wanted it off course?"

'Hmm... you know anything about safecracking?' squatting down to get a better view of the safe.

"Not really, I could try to divine the right combination, basically increasing the chance we get lucky with it, other than that I have really no idea how to open it, someone who study Forces might be able to just tear the door of the hinges though."
The young Verbena said as she glanced over at you.
"Do you think there is anything good in there Miss?"

(OOC: That can be, now Hufsa is moving around, changing which wall of the transport box she sit on, but she still will not leave it, I wonder if I should take a clean pipette and put some water in the corner of the transport box so she have something to drink if she is scarred to go to her water cup.)

'Nah... got my own, better ones.' Nicole replied with a little smile.

'C'mon... not curious?' the large women replied with amused eyes, standing up again. 'Well, can't not open it. Might have shit in it which can't be left for others to find later.'

'Not much of a bother, really... either jimmy it or just cut it open with an angle grinder. Safes only buy time, after all.' looking down to see which method might be the best in this situation.

[If spider can easily leave the box to get food/water, I personally wouldn't bother - they'll go hunting for stuff when they need it. Though admittedly I've never had to deal with that kind of critter]

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]
"I guess you are right about that Sir bt if you do not manage to motivate yourself to doing something or take part then observing and learning gets allot harder as well, though I guess we all learn some all the time."
Avery said and sigh.
Colin nodded, "This is true. Still, there's no shame in the occasional 'off' day, or in asking for help with motivation."

"Well if she is this old recruiting her for the Traditions would be a boon, she would be able to bring tremendous power to the table, power that would be useful against our enemies."
Crexia said.
His expression went blank for a few moments, "Yes... yes, recruiting her would be tremendously useful, if we could get away with it... It's a bit too complicated to elaborate on in public."

"Yes indeed Bahari where branded as infernalists earlier though now a days many Verbena openly worship Lillith and they believe her to have been the very first Awakened mage, the first of the Wyck."
Crexia said and nodded.
"I will see you then and we can discuss it in more details."
She agreed.
He nodded, "Say, where is your office, anyway? I don't believe I know which room that would be."

"There are more ways to take someone down that going at them with spells or a blade Mr Wainwright, sometimes the game of politics can be turned against the very ones who hide behind their political power."
Philippa said and gave a bit of a dark, knowing smile.
Colin nodded, "Observe the plans within plans within plans... The problem with an intricate game of politics is that the more intricate the web, the more vulnerable it is to the unexpected player who finds a loose end and starts pulling."

He nodded, "Ah, on that note, your father-in-law sends his regards. Well, he did not say so in so many words, but it was implied. He was quite grateful the... harridan's imposition on his family was dealt with."

He smiled, "They are both good men, and I suppose in Chief Morgan's case, early greying might be inaccurate, but not so much in my Cabalmate's case... I'm sure we'll get into a bit more detail later; not for everyone to hear..."

"Colin then, if you please call me Harmony."
The Cultist said and smiled.
"I would be most interested to meet your young apprentice, both me and Heather."
She said as she took her wife's hand lovingly in hers.
"Please lead the way, if now was an apropriate time."
He nodded, "Of course, Harmony. I've got a meeting with Lady Arden's family in about half an hour, to ensure we had a bit of time to talk between the four of us before then."
He started leading the way to Anna's room, "She should still be in the same room, I believe... Poor dear needed a blood transfusion, after internal stitches ruptured. She's better now, though. Fortunately, Lady Arden and Miss Stone were able to do so without the usual needlework."

"Apologies mea filius I should have explained it better that the Umbrood would be reborn and not recreated." Jeffry said then he considered.

"That's alright, I mean. That's kind of what it feels like...which is...weird." It wasn't really the sort of thing he'd considered as a male, especially as a male with less than zero interest in female romantic partnership.

"You may tell Mr Wainwright but let me put it this way, if what I suspect is true, there will be allot of magi who would desire your Avatar for the power it houses, do not tell anyone you can not trust with more than your life." The old Hermetic said and his expression was halfway between wonder and worry. "But let us see what Master Telar say about it first, but we need to take precautions with this mea filius." He warned.

"Alright," he said with a nod. As much as he trusted Colin, it might be good to keep it close at least for now.

"Yes you should speak with Master Nassa about it, he is a healer to so he might be able to advice you." Jeffry said then he grinned. "Wonderful, Master Haagen is a exellent cook you do not want to miss the meal he prepares."

"Very well, after I speak with the hedge wizard then. I'm a bit worried I didn't see two of the parties back yet," he said with a frown. He wrote, 'We split our party so that Ms B. and the Verbena healers took the Technocrat found in the lab to drop off. They went through the umbra, I figured they'd take a bit longer than you to get home but they should be back soon. Then there's Mr K., whom I will need to talk to. Master S. is onstandby for emergency upstairs - if they're not back yet someone should run him some food. I think he's vegetarian. But I hope they will be back because if not, it's a long way to the Deep. Another thing, may I suggest taht when they come to pick up the prisoners, C. should be moved to the hall bath so she doesn't see a parade of people from the Labyrinth and then perhaps when there is room we can take her downstairs.'

Cecilia nodded, she gave Mundi a final pat and let you help her up. "Iff course Sir please lead the way."

He nodded and escorted Cecelia to the door, knocked on it and waited to be allowed inside. Then he helped her inside and to one of the chairs. "I will be back shortly," he said before heading to a room that should be clear and not easily overheard that was on the same floor - perhaps the meeting chamber.

"Perhaps he is fond of animals."
Allison said.
"Yes he have been...treated horribly. Let us just move the fish, could you carry the bowl over to his bedside and see what happens."
The hedge wizard asked.

As you where talking with Allison you saw several magi with lesser wounds coming up to the infirmary lead by Ingmar Rush one of them where Ryan, he was limping badly but seamed to be otherwise fine even if he was covered in grime. Your uncle waved to you but then he paled when he saw Ange and limped over to her.
"What...what happened?"
He asked in a shaking voice.
"Ange...is...is she going to be ok?"

He waved back and swallowed hard as his uncle saw his mentor. He was the one Ange entrusted to pass the news along so he temporarily stopped what he was doing (unless he was able to move the fish and talk to Ryan at the same time) and explained Ange's situation to him.

"She'll be alright. She got injured pretty badly during a fight with one of the Nephadus's big 4. Their was no brain damage thanks to some quick healing from Deaconess O'Connor so she managed to escape with just half her bones being broken. She'll be sore for a while and in bed but she'll heal in time."

He purposefully avoided saying Jace's name. He was very likely surrounded by people who had been victims to his torture and while it didn't seem likely, Serge didn't want to chance causing one of them to have a panic attack at the first mention of his name.

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

Colin nodded, "This is true. Still, there's no shame in the occasional 'off' day, or in asking for help with motivation."

"It is more that I have the occesional on day Sir, then again I guess some of the problem is that the expectation is that I will be passive in a way...it is hard to explain but while I need understanding that I am often very sad when someone just sort of expect me to fade away and die that is not really any better either. I guess that is why my House is good at getting those like me to survive Sir they know the right balance between understanding and giving a good kick in the ass to get me moving when I need it."
Avery said and smiled.

His expression went blank for a few moments, "Yes... yes, recruiting her would be tremendously useful, if we could get away with it... It's a bit too complicated to elaborate on in public."

"I understand Mr Wainwright, we can discuss it later in private."
Crexia said and nodded.

He nodded, "Say, where is your office, anyway? I don't believe I know which room that would be."

Crexia pointed.
"If you go in through the corridor that also have Master Min's office the fourth door on the left is my office right next to my room."
The lich explained.

Colin nodded, "Observe the plans within plans within plans... The problem with an intricate game of politics is that the more intricate the web, the more vulnerable it is to the unexpected player who finds a loose end and starts pulling."

"This is quite true, however when someone hide behind politics and the power that give one then have a choice fold and let them do whatever they please in order to avoid the political game or fight back even if one by that risk loosing. I choose to fight back when it is me who have been attacked."
Philippa said.

He nodded, "Ah, on that note, your father-in-law sends his regards. Well, he did not say so in so many words, but it was implied. He was quite grateful the... harridan's imposition on his family was dealt with."

"I see."
Was all Philippa had to say to than but she frowned a little when you mentioned Irik.

He smiled, "They are both good men, and I suppose in Chief Morgan's case, early greying might be inaccurate, but not so much in my Cabalmate's case... I'm sure we'll get into a bit more detail later; not for everyone to hear..."

"As you wish, we can discuss it during tea."
Philippa agreed.

He nodded, "Of course, Harmony. I've got a meeting with Lady Arden's family in about half an hour, to ensure we had a bit of time to talk between the four of us before then."

"Very well we should be on our way then."
Harmony agreed.

He started leading the way to Anna's room, "She should still be in the same room, I believe... Poor dear needed a blood transfusion, after internal stitches ruptured. She's better now, though. Fortunately, Lady Arden and Miss Stone were able to do so without the usual needlework."

"Poor kid I am glad Lady Arden where able to help her then, she had been healed wrong the way I understood it, leaving permanent damage?"
Harmony asked.

You got to Anna's room the little girl was sitting in bed but she was rather pale and clearly still sick after she had allmost bled to death. Philippa's youngest student where still watching her, the young Verbena curtsy to you and the two initiated Cultists.
"Mr Wainwright, have you come to retrive your apprentice? Did you hear that she got ill a little while ago?"
The healer asked. Anna looked at you and smiled.
"Hi Mentor."
She said happily then she noticed the Cultists and gave them a little uncertain smile. Heather waved to the little girl and Harmony smiled.
"Hello child."

[Nicole] (In the old auto shop at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

'Nah... got my own, better ones.' Nicole replied with a little smile.

"I got some better ones to Miss but hey a new knife is always a good thing."
Violet said and smiled then her smile faded.
"I just wish I could have shown it to my Mentor."

'C'mon... not curious?' the large women replied with amused eyes, standing up again. 'Well, can't not open it. Might have shit in it which can't be left for others to find later.'

"I am curious Miss I just do not know much about how to open it, I think I might be able to make us lucky though, lucky enough to get the door open."
The young Verbena said and scratched her head.

'Not much of a bother, really... either jimmy it or just cut it open with an angle grinder. Safes only buy time, after all.' looking down to see which method might be the best in this situation.

You think that cutting it open would probably be the fastest with this type of safe and the workshop did have an angle grinder.
"I thought they where made to be pretty much impossible to open Miss.."
The teenager said as she looked at the safe.

(OOC: Yes she can leave the box easily, she have had her foot outside of it but do not feel like bringing the rest of her hairy ass out of the box...well to be fair her ass have a bald spot so it is not that hairy.)

[Adley] (Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

"That's alright, I mean. That's kind of what it feels like...which is...weird." It wasn't really the sort of thing he'd considered as a male, especially as a male with less than zero interest in female romantic partnership.

"Well I guess family relations are going to get even more complicated."
Jeffry said with a slight grin.
"Are you okey though mea filius, do the Umbrood shard hurt much? I assume it do not disturb your ability to cast Magick as Master Telar said you would be fine."

"Alright," he said with a nod. As much as he trusted Colin, it might be good to keep it close at least for now.

Jeffry nodded solemnly at that.

Jeffry read what you had written and frowned.
"Mr Karyak insisted on bringing the dead werewolves home, which is noble enough, I warned him about the departing ship but he insisted he would be fine in the Umbra, I assured him he would not surviving in the Deep Umbra is dificult even for a Master of the Art but he would not listen, there is a limit to my patience with the man at least in this stunt if he insist on being stupid he will only get himself and his werewolf friends killed."
Your Mentor said in a tone of voice that told you that Tane had about one milimeter left of the old Flambeau's patience left.
"Ah when you talk to him, assuming he do not get lost in the Umbra and I have to go looking for the fool, would you kindly explain to him about the chain of command again. He questioned Master Dupre's orders, in the middle of a combat situation, right in front of the rest of the striketeam, that is not acceptable, Master Dupre mentioned it to me, and while Mr Karyak eventually obeyed orders, such questions better be about an immediate danger the leader have missed or be taken in private when opertunity present itself, between this and his behavior under Master Haagen's command it is becoming clear that while the man can inflict damage to the enemy relaying on him as a soldier is impossible."
Jeffry said his voice low and even.
"If he want to be a part of this Chantry he can not keep doing his own things rules and traditions be damned, also it is a wonder Master Dupre did not burn the man to ash where he stood, and he might have gotten away with it as well for correcting such insubordination during a critical mission."

Another thing, may I suggest taht when they come to pick up the prisoners, C. should be moved to the hall bath so she doesn't see a parade of people from the Labyrinth and then perhaps when there is room we can take her downstairs.'

"I was planning on realasing your brother from his make shift cell once he walkes up, Cecilia can have the room he have been in, we can pick up some things to make it more comfortable tomorrow...we are not taking the prisoners up though, we take them to a ritual room and cross them over into the Umbra where a ship will be waiting, it is to risky to bring them to the port, they are sending a skilled enough pilot to land in the Penumbra right outside the Chantry."
Jeffry said the last was in a bare whisper though.
"So the hedge wizard should be safe enough in the common room."

He nodded and escorted Cecelia to the door, knocked on it and waited to be allowed inside. Then he helped her inside and to one of the chairs. "I will be back shortly," he said before heading to a room that should be clear and not easily overheard that was on the same floor - perhaps the meeting chamber.

"Come in."
You heard Jeffry say from the other side of the door. Cecilia nodded as you lead her to a chair.
"Ok...I will see you later then."
She said and gave you a nervous smile.

The Deacon Council's meeting chambers where empty and with the doors closed you should get privacy there yes.

[Serge] (Helping out at the infirmary in the attic of Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

He waved back and swallowed hard as his uncle saw his mentor. He was the one Ange entrusted to pass the news along so he temporarily stopped what he was doing (unless he was able to move the fish and talk to Ryan at the same time) and explained Ange's situation to him.

You could be carrying the fish bowl over to Ryan but it do weigh a bit so holding it while talking with him will be uncomfortable after a while and the fish are probably happier being left alone on the table until you can move them from point A to point B in a one go.

"I am going to have to thank the Deaconess then."
Ryan said as he looked at his sister with concerned eyes.
"She have several broken bones...poor Ange...and I assume she is already planning to go back to work?"
He said and shook his head.
"She is one dedicated lady she is going to give Dr Wong and Dr Lee hell."
He said fondly.
"But she will be fine? You are sure about that kid?"

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]
"It is more that I have the occesional on day Sir, then again I guess some of the problem is that the expectation is that I will be passive in a way...it is hard to explain but while I need understanding that I am often very sad when someone just sort of expect me to fade away and die that is not really any better either. I guess that is why my House is good at getting those like me to survive Sir they know the right balance between understanding and giving a good kick in the ass to get me moving when I need it."
Avery said and smiled.
Colin nodded, "The Mercere are in many ways the bravest and strongest House, regardless of what the Flambeau might want to say about it..."

Crexia pointed.
"If you go in through the corridor that also have Master Min's office the fourth door on the left is my office right next to my room."
The lich explained.
He nodded, "Fourth on the left, got it. If you are not here when I return, I'll check there."

"This is quite true, however when someone hide behind politics and the power that give one then have a choice fold and let them do whatever they please in order to avoid the political game or fight back even if one by that risk loosing. I choose to fight back when it is me who have been attacked."
Philippa said.
He nodded and smiled darkly, "A good policy... The political game can never be avoided, but a lucky novice can appear to be flailing even while forging an alliance the schemer never anticipated."

"As you wish, we can discuss it during tea."
Philippa agreed.
He nodded, "I will see you then. Ah, which room?"

"Poor kid I am glad Lady Arden where able to help her then, she had been healed wrong the way I understood it, leaving permanent damage?"
Harmony asked.
He nodded softly, "Not so much wrong as incompletely - it was a rush job, interrupted by the arrival of police and paramedics. It was enough to prevent her from dying there and then, but the result is a weakened heart."

He bowed politely to the young Verbena, "Yes, I have, though I have a few other matters to tend to here before we leave. And I know, I called it in, thank Heavens it was in time."
He smiled, "Would you give us a few minutes' privacy, please?"
He turned to Anna, "Hello, sweetie, I would like you to meet Harmony Piti and Heather Wellspring; I'd like you to think of them as honourary aunts."

"I hope he knows some friends that can give him a lift if he gets stuck," he said, frowning.

He brushed a hand through is hair in frustration. "Great. Hey, I'm not sure I understand what happened with the Master alchemist but I was given a duty to see to it that an apology was made. It seems now there should be two...perhaps the best way to think about it is that he is not a soldier at all and we may not be doing anyone a favor by considering him as such. A fighter, sure, but not a soldier. I really need to have a word with him, assuming he lives so if you see him send him my way please, assuming I am not passed out already."

"If he want to be a part of this Chantry he can not keep doing his own things rules and traditions be damned, also it is a wonder Master Dupre did not burn the man to ash where he stood, and he might have gotten away with it as well for correcting such insubordination during a critical mission."

"Probably because they were in a battle situation."

"Good." He wiped down the tablet. "Do you need this so you can get the information from her discreetly?" he offered.

"Come in." You heard Jeffry say from the other side of the door. Cecilia nodded as you lead her to a chair. "Ok...I will see you later then." She said and gave you a nervous smile.

He gave Cecelia a reassuring smile and then left the room. Once in the meeting room, he closed the door and went over to the table, near the middle of the room and looked at the chair. He wanted to sit. He sighed, then carefully put the candle down on a scrap of something so the wax would not pool up on the table and went through the short ritual to activate it and call Colin up.

You could be carrying the fish bowl over to Ryan but it do weigh a bit so holding it while talking with him will be uncomfortable after a while and the fish are probably happier being left alone on the table until you can move them from point A to point B in a one go.

Serge decided to leave the fishes temporarily while to talk to Ryan.

"Yup, plan's on going back to work as soon as possible." Serge said appreciating his mentor's stubbornness. "I have to thank the Deaconess myself once I see her. I-I wouldn't...I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have Ange." he said with a slight shiver in his voice, not wanting to think of such a horrible possibility that was only narrowly avoided. Despite knowing that his Mentor was going to be fine, Serge couldn't help but be scared for her.

"She will be fine though. That's what I was told. Not too mention I've already talked to her when she was awake and she seems as chipper as always." he said only saying what he knew. He then glanced at Ryan's limp and with a look of concern plastered on his face said, "Now what about you? That limp of your doesn't look good. Are you all right?"

[Adley] (Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

"I hope he knows some friends that can give him a lift if he gets stuck," he said, frowning.

"I doubt it mea filius I do not think he have thought that far ahead, I hope the werewolves might ahve such abilities though I honestly do not know where the limit to their powers are."
Jeffry said and frowned.
"I gave him repeated warnings about the situation, if he perish it is his own responsibility now."
He said sounding frustrated.
"But I do hope the man comes back alive."

"As a short summary, the situation with Master Haagan was pretty much the same Mr Karyak refused to obey orders, took over barking commands of his own contrary to Master Haagan's own and generally creating a situation that undermined the Master Alchemist's leadership and it also created...other unfortunate situations."
Jeffry said then he sigh again.
"I will send him your way when I see him next...if I see him again, if he gets himself lost in the Deep Umbra he will not be easy to rescue."

"Probably because they were in a battle situation."

"Yes Alphonse have always been a good tactician, however we both know mea filius that my old Cabalmate is not quite himself at the moment, meaning such provocation could have ended quite badly for Mr karyak."

"Good." He wiped down the tablet. "Do you need this so you can get the information from her discreetly?" he offered.

"There is no need mea filius my office is well warded, it seams it is only your voice that enjoys giving my wards a run for their money. Me and the hedge wizard should be able to speak quite safely here."
Your Mentor said and shook his head.

There where two candle holders in the center of the table so you could always use those.

[Nicole] (In the old auto shop at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

Nicole was silent on the comment about Violet's now-gone Mentor; knowing that was a topic which required touchy-feely stuff and she was pretty crap at that...

Violet said nothing more about it, she just wrapped the knife up and put it in her bag.

'Heh. That's a load of shit peddled by ads.' Nicole replied with a laugh as she picked up the grinder. 'They rely on being heavy as fuck, and it being loud to cut through - only pros would go on a job lugging one of these in a bag.' holding up the grinder for a moment to show Violet how bulky it was, then checked the blade to see if it was good enough to make a safe-attempt.

"I see, so they only make it harder to steal your valuables then and not impossible?"
Violet asked as she studied the saw.
"Yes it do seam like something it would be a hassle to bring along."
She agreed. The saw blade looked like it had recently been changed, you saw a bit of blood on the machine itself giving you some indication of what the former blade had been used for.

'Only issue we'll have is if it's made from layered high-carbon steel, and then I'll simply gas-axe it.' tone and demeanour making it clear the older woman was neither a complete stranger to this kind of thing - and didn't seem to think what she was doing was wrong at all.

The save did not look like it was nice, layered, high carbon steel, it was quite old and rusty in fact.
"I see, what are gas-axing Miss?"
Violet asked she did not seam like she thought stealing the contents of the safe was a problem eaither, stealing the clothes of a dead man yes the content of their workshop though that was fine.

(OOC: She should have taken a stroll around the cage, had some water and returned to her box, preferring that to the nice cave I bought her, it would not be the first time a pet preferred some packaging to the nice, expensive pet thing they had been given.)

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

Colin nodded, "The Mercere are in many ways the bravest and strongest House, regardless of what the Flambeau might want to say about it..."

"Do you really think so Sir?"
Avery asked.
"Only one in ten of us can use magick."

He nodded, "Fourth on the left, got it. If you are not here when I return, I'll check there."

Crexia nodded at that.
"Very good."

He nodded and smiled darkly, "A good policy... The political game can never be avoided, but a lucky novice can appear to be flailing even while forging an alliance the schemer never anticipated."

"That is quite true and it can be a valuable ploy to use Mr Wainwright, I doubt many would mistake me for a fumbling novice though given that I am a Deacon at one Chantry and a part of Lady Quey's inner circle."
Phillipa said wryly.

He nodded, "I will see you then. Ah, which room?"

"We have an apartment on the first floor in the Master's quarters, the same corridor as Master Min's office is in, ours is door 1-15."
The old Verbena replied.

He nodded softly, "Not so much wrong as incompletely - it was a rush job, interrupted by the arrival of police and paramedics. It was enough to prevent her from dying there and then, but the result is a weakened heart."

"I understand, well hopefully she will recover at least somewhat given time and care Colin, even if she might have some issues with her heart in the future."
Harmony said and nodded.
"Between magick and modern medicine she should still be able to live a long and full life."

He bowed politely to the young Verbena, "Yes, I have, though I have a few other matters to tend to here before we leave. And I know, I called it in, thank Heavens it was in time."

"I am glad everything worked out ok Mr Wainwright, she is still feeling a little under the weather but my Mentor says she will be fine now."
The apprentice said and smiled a little.

He smiled, "Would you give us a few minutes' privacy, please?"

"Off course Sir ehm I have not had lunch I did not want to leave Anna, is it okey if I go and get a sandwich or something from the kitchen before returning then?"
The young Verbena asked.

He turned to Anna, "Hello, sweetie, I would like you to meet Harmony Piti and Heather Wellspring; I'd like you to think of them as honourary aunts."

"Hello it is nice to meet you both."
Anna said sweetly and the two Cultists smiled.
"I have made you a gift Mentor. Mr Horton gave me a spol of this cool transperant tube like stuff and I thought it would look great with transperrant beads for then you can see right through it, so I made you a keychain."
The little girl said and reached for the nightstand and handed you a keycain which was made of three grape sized, blue, transperrant glass beads crimped into place with steel crimps on well medical tubing and then hooped onto a keychain ring. Proud of her creation Anna handed her handmade gift over to you.
"Do you like it Mentor?"
She asked hopefully.

[Serge] (Helping out at the infirmary in the attic of Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

"Yes she is a stuborn one my sister and she thinks more about the well being of others than her own, she always have, I have no doubt she will be back at work as soon as she can leave her sickbed."
Ryan said and smiled fondly.
"We have to think of a suitable way to show our gratitude to the Deaconess for her aid."
He declared.
"And do not worry kid Ange is tough, she is likely to outlive us both."

"That is good to know, yes she do not give up easilly, even so seeing her like this is not easy."
Ryan said and frowned.
"Yeah don't worry about it I can stand on the leg so it is not broken, Mr Rush is handeling healing those with lesser injuries so I am just waiting my turn I am sure it will be fine."
The Cultist said and shrugged.

Anja's Post:

'It's why often folk end up stealing the whole safe; to hack open in their own time.'
Nicole replied, nose wrinkling on seeing the blood.

Anja's Post:

'A gas-fuelled torch, which cuts through metal by heating it up. About as accurate and neat as a normal axe.' she said in an offhand manner, looking at the grinder [and if it runs off main electricity], for an electrical socket nearby to plug it into.

['No, don't want that nice soft bed. I want that box in the random location filled with paperwork!']

He grabbed up the candlestick and put the candle in it, then waited to see if Colin was able to pick up.

((OOC: Guesstimating the timing here, should be fairly close.))
[Morgan's Shuttle, 3:30 PM]
He grabbed up the candlestick and put the candle in it, then waited to see if Colin was able to pick up.
Colin arched an eyebrow as Rodger navigated from Boston's shadow to Chicago's shadow, and answered the phone, "Adley? Is everything alright? I'm in the shuttle, heading for Chicago, so I don't have much privacy. Just the pilot and one passenger, though."

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]
"Do you really think so Sir?"
Avery asked.
"Only one in ten of us can use magick."
He nodded, "Exactly. Only one in ten of you can use magic, yet you thrive and persist in a society of Mages. Can you think of any group in the worlds who has pulled off a similar achievement?"

"That is quite true and it can be a valuable ploy to use Mr Wainwright, I doubt many would mistake me for a fumbling novice though given that I am a Deacon at one Chantry and a part of Lady Quey's inner circle."
Phillipa said wryly.
He winked, "True. For that, you might wish to employ an apparent catspaw, perhaps like a seemingly expendable Orphan from out of town..."

"We have an apartment on the first floor in the Master's quarters, the same corridor as Master Min's office is in, ours is door 1-15."
The old Verbena replied.
He nodded, "Ah, most practical."

"I understand, well hopefully she will recover at least somewhat given time and care Colin, even if she might have some issues with her heart in the future."
Harmony said and nodded.
"Between magick and modern medicine she should still be able to live a long and full life."
He grinned, "She'll be tough enough to sneak away from my wife and hop back in time to earlier today to drop off a few necessities for the coming days and battles... so yes, she'll get to live a long and full life."

"Off course Sir ehm I have not had lunch I did not want to leave Anna, is it okey if I go and get a sandwich or something from the kitchen before returning then?"
The young Verbena asked.
He smiled, "That sounds perfect... just knock before you come back in, alright?"

Proud of her creation Anna handed her handmade gift over to you.
"Do you like it Mentor?"
She asked hopefully.
He grinned, "It's perfect... Perhaps you could braid a wristband next? Or maybe a keychain with green beads; my future wife loves that colour."
He accepted the little strap, and fished out his keychain, quickly hooping the new key ring onto it, "Yes, I think it looks better now."
He turned a little more serious when the Verbena apprentice closed the door behind her, and lowered his voice a little, "Anna... I have found a way to protect you from the serum, but it does have certain complications... I have asked these two nice women to borrow a priceless treasure, an item that lets one trusted person completely control the magic of another, until I get a copy made for you."
He took her hand gently, "So, Harmony, Heather, if you would like to explain the significance of it, and how it works... I am proud to introduce you to Anna Wainwright, the reincarnation of Louis DuMonte, the Hermetic of the First Cabal."

[Adley] (Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

"What kind of other situations?" he asked, brow furrowing.

"Master Haagen did not directly order Mr Karyak to leave Miss Clearwavter alone since that would be illegal but he ordered him to focus on other targets, it is not that he wanted a Nephandus to escape but Miss Clearwater is smallfries and he needed Mr Riez's head in the game and he knew about Mr Riez's past with Miss Clearwater something Mr Karyak did not as as result the most experienced figther on their team was distracted in the worst possible way, and then off course it have been Mr Karyak's behavior surrounding Miss Clearwater from wanting to have her in the room while he shovered to demanding she not be sent to Horizon and raging about our laws...this can not be an official compaint off course Master Haagen could not tell anyone to let Miss Clearwater have a chance to run while more important matters was dealt with but picking ones battles is important at at times not having one's team mate distracted is worth more than taking down a small fry enemy."

He frowned. "Yeah...but at least it didn't."

"Thank the gods for small favors."

He nodded. "Wizard's sigil, in the old lingo," he said with a shrug. "Maybe in a past life I was really good at calling out people on the battlefield," he joked.

"Yes maybe, or perhaps since you carry an angel in your soul, your voice have a touch of the voice of god in it, the god of your own inner microcosmos, the voice of creation, in either case your voice is the price for your magick and your Avatar's mark on you, even if it can be impractical you should tressure it mea filius."
Jeffry said and he smiled proudly.

He grabbed up the candlestick and put the candle in it, then waited to see if Colin was able to pick up.

The candle flame danced as Colin picked up.

"Honestly, I can't begin to think of a way to express how grateful I am to the Deaconess." Serge said softly. "I could honestly spend the rest of my life drawing a thousand pictures for her to show my gratitude and it still wouldn't be enough."

"That is good to know, yes she do not give up easilly, even so seeing her like this is not easy."

Serge nodded satisfied in knowing that Ryan wasn't in any great danger. "There's one more thing I should mention. I don't know if you've been told about this but Ange told me to contact her mentor and tell her about her injury. When I did she promptly invited herself over and will be visiting the chantry tomorrow."

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

[Morgan's Shuttle, 3:30 PM]

[quoteColin arched an eyebrow as Rodger navigated from Boston's shadow to Chicago's shadow, and answered the phone, "Adley? Is everything alright? I'm in the shuttle, heading for Chicago, so I don't have much privacy. Just the pilot and one passenger, though."][/quote]

"If you go into the engine room and close the hatch you should have pently of privacy and I can pilot the ship alone in the meantime."
Rodger suggjested when you got the telephone call.

Morningstar, 4:30 PM]

He nodded, "Exactly. Only one in ten of you can use magic, yet you thrive and persist in a society of Mages. Can you think of any group in the worlds who has pulled off a similar achievement?"

"Well I guess I can not think of any Sir. And I mean we are useful, we can deliver communication and packages safely when the postal service and the internet can be compromized by the Technocrazy."
The boy said proudly and smiled.
"I guess we do a very meaningful job."

He winked, "True. For that, you might wish to employ an apparent catspaw, perhaps like a seemingly expendable Orphan from out of town..."

Philippa gave a wide smile at that.
"Well now Orphans have been known to be very useful."
She said and Rebecca shot her a bit of a glare at that.
"In a good way of course Miss Stone, in a good way."

He nodded, "Ah, most practical."

"I will see you then Mr Wainwright."
Philippa said and nodded.

He grinned, "She'll be tough enough to sneak away from my wife and hop back in time to earlier today to drop off a few necessities for the coming days and battles... so yes, she'll get to live a long and full life."

"That is good to hear Mr Wainwiright, so you apprentice will be a time traveler as well, that is quite interesting as Mentor as apprentice I guess."
Harmony said and nodded.

He smiled, "That sounds perfect... just knock before you come back in, alright?"

"Off course Sir."
The young Verbena said and she curtsy again before she left to get something to eat.

He grinned, "It's perfect... Perhaps you could braid a wristband next? Or maybe a keychain with green beads; my future wife loves that colour."

"I can do that Mentor, this tubing is very pliable and Mr Horton gave me a whole spool of it."
She said and showed you a spool where the medical supply logo had been removed.
"I was given some glass beads so I can make a keychain with green beads as well and a wristband."
Anna said happily.

He accepted the little strap, and fished out his keychain, quickly hooping the new key ring onto it, "Yes, I think it looks better now."

"I am so glad Mentor."
The little girl said and beamed.
"And the glass beads should be very durable."

The young Nephanda suddenly looked very scared.
"The green serum that stops magick, there where a chance that would be used on me...but you have to use needles with that!"
She said suddenly very afraid and her breathing got quicker she looked at the cuffs on her wrists.
"Why could not such cuffs be used instead they are just impractical...there was a chance that serum would be used on me?"
She asked again and that is what she had heard of your message and she was panicing over it.

He took her hand gently, "So, Harmony, Heather, if you would like to explain the significance of it, and how it works... I am proud to introduce you to Anna Wainwright, the reincarnation of Louis DuMonte, the Hermetic of the First Cabal."

Anna who was still afraid suddely looked at you.
"I am...the reincarnation of who Sir? Was not he an old Traditionalist I think I have read his name somewhere."
She asked. Harmony and Heather also looked rather shocked.
"I will explain all you asked Colin but first the child is a reincarnation of a member of the First Cabal? Are you sure?"
Harmony said and she looked from you to Anna seaming rather shocked. Heather to looked at you dumbfounded.

(OOC: Sorry for the late reply, I fell asleep as a rock yesterday and slept in.)

[Adley] (Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

"I see, well this seems a persistent, compounding problem, despite my amicus's attempts."

Jeffry nodded at that and frowned.
"So it have, the man need to be made to grasp the reality of his situation and soon before he stop on a set of toes belonging to someone who will drag him to face a Tribunal for it."

"I do."

"You have allot of portential mea filius, I saw that even in the young kid you where when I met you, and you are doing me proud Adley I want you to know that."
Jeffry said fondly.

[Serge] (Helping out at the infirmary in the attic of Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

"Honestly, I can't begin to think of a way to express how grateful I am to the Deaconess." Serge said softly. "I could honestly spend the rest of my life drawing a thousand pictures for her to show my gratitude and it still wouldn't be enough."

"Enough no it will never be enough she gave us a irreplacable gift but even so we should do something nice for the Deaconess to show our appriciation."
Ryan said in agreement.
"She is a kind woman, very, very strange but kind."
He added.

Ryan paled a little.
"Fuck! Shit! My Mentor is coming to visit? I guess it is natural she want to check on Ange but I do wonder if I can find some exuse to be elsewere."
Ryan grumbeled.
"What is this I hear about a long expedition to Ikea? Perhaps she would have left by the time she comes back."
He suggjested.

[Nicole] (In the old auto shop at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

'It's why often folk end up stealing the whole safe; to hack open in their own time.' Nicole replied, nose wrinkling on seeing the blood.

"That do make sense actually, grabbing the whole thing Miss instead of working on it on the location itself."
Violet said and nodded.
"But is not a safe rather heavy Miss it would not be easy to carry off."

'A gas-fuelled torch, which cuts through metal by heating it up. About as accurate and neat as a normal axe.' she said in an offhand manner, looking at the grinder [and if it runs off main electricity], for an electrical socket nearby to plug it into.

"That sounds like both a useful tool and a dangerous one Miss."
The young Verbena exclaimed.
"Should I plug that thiing in for you?"
She said and pointed at the saw and thecord that ran from it. There where a nearby set of wall sockets to plug it into.

[Morgan's Shuttle, 3:30 PM]
"That's unfortunate, I rather would like a word privately with you regarding one of your directives that you gave me. There's something of a time crunch," he said, watching the flame jump.
"If you go into the engine room and close the hatch you should have pently of privacy and I can pilot the ship alone in the meantime."
Rodger suggjested when you got the telephone call.
Colin nodded and unbuckled his seatbelt, "Right... Give me a moment, Adley, I'm heading to the engines; let's hope that won't interfere with the signal..."
He took a few brisk steps into the engine compartment and shut the hatch, "Alright, I think we should have privacy now... What is the complication?"

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]
"Well I guess I can not think of any Sir. And I mean we are useful, we can deliver communication and packages safely when the postal service and the internet can be compromized by the Technocrazy."
The boy said proudly and smiled.
"I guess we do a very meaningful job."
He nodded, "Very meaningful, indeed."

Philippa gave a wide smile at that.
"Well now Orphans have been known to be very useful."
She said and Rebecca shot her a bit of a glare at that.
"In a good way of course Miss Stone, in a good way."
He turned and gave Rebecca a wink, "I'm an Orphan, too, Miss Stone. Unlike Lady Arden, not everyone gives us the credit we deserve..."

"That is good to hear Mr Wainwiright, so you apprentice will be a time traveler as well, that is quite interesting as Mentor as apprentice I guess."
Harmony said and nodded.
He grinned, "Yes, I'm sure we'll have Freddy worried out of her skin soon enough with what antics we'll come up with."

"I can do that Mentor, this tubing is very pliable and Mr Horton gave me a whole spool of it."
She said and showed you a spool where the medical supply logo had been removed.
"I was given some glass beads so I can make a keychain with green beads as well and a wristband."
Anna said happily.
He smiled, "I'm glad you've found something comforting to work with while you're waiting."

He nodded, "You could get out of the cuffs - remember how you tore your hand free this morning? And the chance of the serum being used is now nil, I've managed to cut off that possible future. There's a young vampire who sees the future, she's reassured me I've secured the best possible future for you; no serum for you, ever."

He nodded, "Louis DuMonte of the First Cabal, yes. I am quite certain; it was Lady Crexia who first made the connection between Anna's description of her Avatar and her marble collection - Lady Crexia was DuMonte's confidant back then - and Master Steelhaven confirmed it. That is part of why she is so precious, and why it is important to save her soul..."

((OOC: Quite alright; the game's not as good if the Storyteller's half asleep and incoherent. Razz ))

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

[Morgan's Shuttle, 3:30 PM]

Colin nodded and unbuckled his seatbelt, "Right... Give me a moment, Adley, I'm heading to the engines; let's hope that won't interfere with the signal..."
He took a few brisk steps into the engine compartment and shut the hatch, "Alright, I think we should have privacy now... What is the complication?"

The engines gave off a little bit of noise but other than that there would be no problem heaing Adley, the enchantment Narim had put on your phone held true.

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]

He nodded, "Very meaningful, indeed."

The young Mercere gave a proud smile at that.

He turned and gave Rebecca a wink, "I'm an Orphan, too, Miss Stone. Unlike Lady Arden, not everyone gives us the credit we deserve..."

"That is true, here at Morningstar I have been treated well but other mages have been assholes at times, as if it is my fault my Avatar just decided to wake up one day so I had to learn things on my own."
Rebecca said and smiled a little.
"I know Lady Arden is a nice lady."

He grinned, "Yes, I'm sure we'll have Freddy worried out of her skin soon enough with what antics we'll come up with."

"Freddy that is Miss Adlebloom right? The green haired young woman with your party?"
Harmony asked.
"Yes I suspect that she will be worried about the two of you."

He smiled, "I'm glad you've found something comforting to work with while you're waiting."

"Arts and crafts are pretty fun Mentor. I think I will make a necklace with clear beads as well that might be cool then the necklace will look a bit like water since the tubing is clear as well."
Anna said happily.

He nodded, "You could get out of the cuffs - remember how you tore your hand free this morning? And the chance of the serum being used is now nil, I've managed to cut off that possible future. There's a young vampire who sees the future, she's reassured me I've secured the best possible future for you; no serum for you, ever."

Anna looked down at her hand, her thumb still a little pink and swollen from where it had been healed.
"Yes I remember."
She muttered.
"But I was not trying to run promise I just got scared because that mean nurse wanted to stick me with a needle and that would affect my brain...I got scared."
She protested.
"Are you abslutely sure Mentor that the serum will not be used? Absolutely sure?"
She asked still rather nervous.
"A vampire told you? Vampires are interesting but they can't eat anything, it must be boring not to be able to have any treats."
She mushed at least she was slowly calming down again.

Harmony nodded.
"Precious indeed."
She muttered. Anna still looked confused.
"Who is this person you talk about Mentor? The one you say I am a reincarnation of?"
Harmony smiled a little.
"What about I tell you about the collar first child."
She said softly and Anna nodded. The Cultist started explaining.
"Me and my wife Heather have a relationship where I am the boss and she follow. I like to have control and she likes to be controlled, have you hear of something like that?"
She asked carefully and Anna nodded.
"I do Ma'am many in the Labyrinth kept slaves."
Harmony frowned at that.
"Yes well this is consensual, both me and Heather love one another and want our relationship to be this way, it is about love and trust not about abusing power."
She said Anna nodded but you could see she did not really understand. Harmony continued.
"For our wedding we had a collar made, it gives me control over Heather's magick, I can feel what magick she performs and know the direction she is located, I can block of her magick completely or open up for only some types of it, also once the collar is placed she can not remove it herself. This collar is a symbol of our love and is very precious to us but we are willing to loan it to your Mentor so you do not have to suffer the serum."
She said softly and a bit regretfully. Anna looked up at you.
"What do that mean Mentor, that I wear that collar and you stop me from ever using magick?"
She asked sadly.

But that doesn't matter; the point is that cuffs can be escaped, more easily by some than by others. As for vampires, they can eat, just... not quite like we do. They can still get treats, as such... after a fashion."

Harmony nodded.
"Precious indeed."

He shook his head, "Yes and no... To protect you from the Mages who are afraid of you just because you're Fallen, you have to wear that collar, so people see that your powers are under control. That will not prevent me from letting you flex your muscles from time to time, and I think I can get away with letting you expand your senses most of the time, if not nearly all the time. There will be some things I cannot let you do for some time, but I do mean to arrange a number of exercises and magical challenges as part of your training - and for those, you will have few restrictions on your magic, even if I can shut you down on a moment's notice if things get dangerous."
He smiled, "The collar is not for oppression, it's a mark of trust and faith. Any less, and I would have been far more reluctant to ask..."

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

Colin nodded, "Oh, believe me, I know the feeling..."

"Yeah some mages for all our supposed wisdom can be real douchbags."
Rebecca muttered.
"Then again I guess I am lucky to have been found by Morningstar."

He nodded, smiling kind of sheepishly, "Yes... I'm probably going to regret quite a few worries I put her through."

"Oh I hope she manage to hold you by the ear a bit."
Harmony said and she gave you an amused smile.

He smiled, "I look forward to seeing what you can do with a bit of silver wire and beads, too."

"Silver wire like my earrings are made of Mentor?"
Anna asked and pointed to the two hoops in each ear that Engrave had placed there for her.
"That would be fun I could make a wrapped ring, I saw how to make one on Youtube once."

He nodded, "Oh, I know you weren't trying to run... and the nurse will be penalized for ignoring orders like that. But that doesn't matter; the point is that cuffs can be escaped, more easily by some than by others. As for vampires, they can eat, just... not quite like we do. They can still get treats, as such... after a fashion."

"I told her no and she kept coming at me...I do not like that nurse I do not like her at all!"
Anna declared.
"But you are sure that serum will not be used on me Mentor?"
She asked again nervously.
"I am not going to break out of the cuffs again...I promise."

He smiled, "The collar is not for oppression, it's a mark of trust and faith. Any less, and I would have been far more reluctant to ask..."

"I understand Mentor, I would not want to go without my magick I can not remember a time when I had not had my powers."
Harmony spoke up.
"Well you can be rather spesific in what you allow or not, restricing not only the power used but what it is used for so you could easilly block her from hurting anyone but allow her to play with a Prime bolt for example. My suggjestion would be to discuss it with your Security Chief and make three lists, one list of what she might do when she is alone, one of what she might do when you are around to supervise and one of what she might be allowed to do to strech her powers during special circumstances. That way she will not feel boxed in and everything should be safe. I mean I had restrictions of what I was allowed to do when I was a student without my Mentor or older sister there to superwise."
The Cultist said.
"And her being sick she should avoid Paradox, especially since she is Fallen and Dox tend to be rough on them."
She added. Anna smiled a little and nodded.
"That is ok Mentor, I do not mind Gabriel had limits for what I could do unless he superwised as well, so that collar other than it being a but embarashing do not sound like something bad really."
She said and smiled.
"It is far better than what I had feared...or expected."
She mutttered and smiled happily.
"Well I made a suggjestion little one that do not mean your Mentor will agree to it but yes the collar can keep control while at the same time give you allot of freedom."
Harmony said as she patted Anna's shoulder gently.

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

Colin nodded, then frowned, "Hum, that does make me wonder how much Master Steelhaven foresaw of this week, when I moved in..."

"Who is Master Steelhaven, other than having a kick ass name I guess this guy can see the future then?"
Rebecca asked and Philippa looked a little amused before she went to fetch the girl some refreshments.

He smirked, "The... ear, yes. She'll certainly keep a good grip on that."

That made harmony grin broardly and Heather blushed.

He nodded, "Earrings and similar jewelry is one of the most common applications for silver wire, yes. I think you'll enjoy the odd outing to my workshop."

"Yeah that would probably be fun Mentor, you said you where a silversmith you make jewlery and such things right, and you said you had a furnace."
Anna said and grinned.
"Do that get really hot Mentor?"

He nodded, "I'm quite certain, yes. And I know; you'll soon be released from the cuffs, and we can go home to Boston."

Anna calmed down considerably and smiled.
"Thank you for finding another solution Mentor."
She muttered relieved.
"Getting out of the handcuffs will be nice."
She agreed and nodded.
"They are a little heavy."

He nodded, "Three lists... That's a good idea; one for most of the time, one for supervised time, and one for special circumstances like tests and, Heavens forbid, combat situations."

"Just a thought. I mean with that collar it should not be dangerous like I said to let her train to get better for example, when she is supervised, just restrict her not to use her magick in a harmful way, but you would probably not want to allow a twelve year old, any twelve year old, forgive me little one, free range of using her abilities when alone, the chance she harm herself by accident or get Paradox would be to great, but if she is allowd to train, and use lesser effects when alone you avoid her starting to miss her magick."
Harmony suggjested.
"Not that I am going to tell you how to raise your student Colin."

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]
"Who is Master Steelhaven, other than having a kick ass name I guess this guy can see the future then?"
Rebecca asked and Philippa looked a little amused before she went to fetch the girl some refreshments.
Colin grinned, "Master George Steelhaven Hermes ex Guernicus, Deacon Primus and founder of Chantry Steelhaven Hall, by all accounts a good six centuries of age, and preparing to head out to become a Postulant. He can indeed see the future, without even straining, and he gets quite irritated when someone does not arrive at the second he expected. That doesn't happen often, mind you."

"Yeah that would probably be fun Mentor, you said you where a silversmith you make jewlery and such things right, and you said you had a furnace."
Anna said and grinned.
"Do that get really hot Mentor?"
He smiled, "Yes, my furnace can easily hit about a thousand degrees Celsius, or some eighteen hundred Fahrenheit, but I don't use it every day. Most silversmithing work is actually done with an itty bitty hammer and a small piece of sheet metal. Of course, if you're making solid objects of silver, casting them in a mold is often the easiest and best method. Fortunately, I have good air conditioning in the workshop, and the furnace is very well insulated."

Anna calmed down considerably and smiled.
"Thank you for finding another solution Mentor."
She muttered relieved.
"Getting out of the handcuffs will be nice."
She agreed and nodded.
"They are a little heavy."
He smiled, "Well, they should be heavy - they are made to restrain the wearer, after all, whether magically or mundanely."

"Just a thought.
