Mobile version

So, I noticed the forum has a mobile version; I tried visiting from my iPhone today, and, well...
Might want to double-check how ad banner permissions are set up for that; tried to read a forum thread, and every few pages it forwarded me directly to king.com after a brief glimpse at the posts.

Not saying ads or a mobile-optimized version of the forum is bad, per se, but if ads that redirect the brower entirely are allowed, that's a Very Bad Thing.

(Managed to choose using the standard version instead; no ad problems.)

I do not know how to fix this problem as I really is not that tech savvy on these things, but I qill ask Jaq if is know how to fix the problem.

Sounds good to me; so long as management is informed about the issue.

Then hopefully she can figure out a way to fix it, if not I will have to ask my husband for help, he is pretty good with anything to do with computers.

I think standard version is a lot better, even on a phone.

Do we have to change something then or is that just a setting?

Might be possible server-side to disable the mobile-optimized version.

(Switching to classic version on the phone is easy, but needs to be done every single time...)

That might be possible, but if we are going doing that perhaps we should make a copy of the content of the forum first just in case switching it delete anything?

I'm pretty sure that won't happen - it shouldn't affect the forum contents... Still, precautions never hurt, and you have to find out where the mobile version lurketh.

Yeah...I will see what I can find out but I do know allot about these forums, but if Jaq can not fix it then I will see what I can do.
