Email Alerts Problems?

I'm having issues with the email alerts.

One which was timestamped 08:59 actually came in at 19.07
Another which was timestamped 11.30 came in to me at 20.42
I sent myself a PM at 20.30, but no email alert yet.

This is a bit of a pain as I use them to tell me when someone has replied.

Is anyone else getting this issue?

...I don't use the e-mail alerts...

And it's still happening.

The PM [sent 20.30] came in at 1.53
Got your reply to the main thread [sent 12.36] at 21.21
Got your reply to this [sent 21.25] at 02.22

And no, it is not on my end, as other emails turn up at once [just tested it].

I get email alerts. I am not sure what to do about the problem though.

Oddly enough, that one actually came through at the correct time... so it might be an issue which simply fixed itself.

I was a bit worried if had continued, as I don't know how many others rely on them to find out regarding replies.

Yup, I have them turned off.

I check in frequently, I don't need my inbox hammered.

I am not compeltely sure what to do about it though?

I would have suggested a reset of the forum, but as the problem seems to have fixed itself... nothing?
