Strange email I did not send

It seams some of you have gotten a email today with the thread I posted about the old fortune telling dice I recently got. I am not sure what happened there I did not send anyone a email. I visited the thread as I had lost the link the the instructions when I got the new computer but I did not send anything, perhaps the forum noticed a thread was visited and sent something out automatically? In any case sorry about that I do not know what happened just ignore that email if you get it.

I got it too. I think it's the forum engine automating a semi-regular newsletter with "trending topics"... Not sure if that's something you can easily change.

This is new.

I've been here since Sept, and it's the first one I've got.

I also operate my own pbp forum game using same provider and it's *never* happened.

Anja: I will root around my forum's Admin section, to see if I can think of any reason why this has happened.

Administration Panel -> General -> Newsletter [Sidebar] -> Write and Send -> Newsletters "Popular contents" -> select 'No'.

Yay, good investigating Nicole!! How annoying xD (not that your dice aren't cool ofc, Anja, but yeah its annoying when anything is automated like that). Besides, our newsletters would be called something cooler, such as Paradima obviously ; )

Yeah if we where going to have a game newsletter it should be the Paradigma and it should be filled with bits about how other mages, especially those on Horizon view the shenanigans going on in Boston.

And while I am at it one exp for Strife as well for all of those copied threads you have been doing so that if, knock on wood, anything happened to the forum we still have the IC content and could start right back up somewhere else.

Heh, I had to do it anyway... my own players got one too, but the 'Popular Contents' included private PC-ST threads - luckily, the blurb featured me only discussing 'Wormhole X-Streme' and the profitability of Edwardian coal mines [makes sense in context, I assure you!].

Ooh, XP. Not going to knock that... need to save up for more strength. Or Firearms. Or Resources so she can get a big 50-cal chain gun.
