"Sometimes...I'm not sure if I'm becoming more myself or losing who I was; it's confusing. Except when it wasn't and that was the worst of times, because I was in Quiet." He sighed.

"While it might be more distinct for you my brother, what you describe is something we all feel, we all bot become and die at the same time."

He pondered, "To some extent, I suppose we need to know who we were, to understand who we are, to figure out who we can become... The Quiet was disconcerting, though, I will admit that - but we managed to get you out of it, and that's rather the important part."

The young Orphan considered for some tie then she sigh and nodded.
"Yeah she is a warrior, I could not do that, she lets Dino draw her blood and once she had these tubes in her arms and she lets them do it."

"She had bruises afterwards it was terrifying to see but she...she says she is just scared just as it happens, then she is fine and will come out of the examination roo to play, if it was me I would be hiding under my bed for days!"

We have to be very careful right now, of course you realize so things can't be shared with the enemy, for obvious reasons. And bending the rules or standing right up on top of them might be unwise. Just be careful, is what I'm saying."

As for what I might hope to gain - the simple bit of information as to whether the Union is experiencing the same problems. I think I can fish for that information without letting them know we've got a bit of a scare ourselves - if it's affected Sleepers, then they would probably be more aware of that than we are right now."

For an issue, I'll point out seems to only be a threat to one member here. I'm more wanting to go over to Westchapel; think they'll be doing much of the heavy lifting on this, not us. "I agree with Colin here the Chief need to know and this is not a either or question it is a both, yes we need to contact Westchapel but we also need to give the Chief a head's up, if Adley is not coming along with you guys it makes sense for him to talk with his Mentor while you contact our allied Chantry."

"It might be a good place to start," he said. "Still, you're a member;do you think he would casually disregard your wellfare because you are only one person?" he arched an eyebrow at her. "Or is it because he doesn't know about your arm, either?" he added.

'Is not going to care as much as I do, he isn't.' she replied, crossing her arms as she leant on a wall. 'Plus, this is not directly affecting his Tradition, or threatening the security of the Chantry as a whole. Do not ask for, or expect him to throw much my way to solve this.' tone making it clear while she was not really happy about that, fully accepted the logic of it.

"The Chief have protected me when he had nothing personal to gain for it nor his Tradition."

"We are a Chantry, that only work if we protect one another. I am pretty sure the Chief would do all he could to keep you safe."

We may have tight resources but that doesn't mean he would not care or that you should not keep him in the loop in case something comes his way. Also, people in the mystical traditions use other types of enchanted limbs, it might be worthy to see if those are affected and do a contrast against why they are, or are not affected by what ever this is that's going on."

He frowned, "The Chief will care. I'm but an Orphan, but when my shop was robbed a few years back - my mundane little shop away from the Chantry - he helped track down the thief and made his life extremely unpleasant with some liberal application of targeted misfortune... My shop's never been robbed again, for some strange reason. And that was not even a threat to Chantry security. This situation... is; pragmatically speaking, if you're taken ill by this strange phenomenon, that's going to put another strain on the Chantry's resources and deprive us of tactical strength. Also, it's liable to weaken the Chantry's allies, which will be a both strategic and tactical burden. Besides, I would be sorely surprised if there are no Hermetics with medical implants - Hell, I would not be surprised if there were a few pacemakers and insulin pumps in every Tradition. And then there's the potential issue with other prostheses; if there's a discernible similarity or distinction to be found, that might make for a way to stop the problem..."

He puffed out a breath of air, clearly irritated suddenly but not at Colin. "I can't bring weapons inside the airport, but I could have them come out to greet me," he said more to himself. Then he snapped a look to Colin. "Look, why don't I drop in on the Chief, tell him what's going on, while you see if AJ can take you across. If there's room in the car and you decide you need me, text me to come to the garage. Otherwise I will be on standby and try to arrange a backup just in case. It's your decision now, I'm not going to waste your time arguing," he said and patted Colin on the shoulder as he tried to head straight past him and Nicole and out the door.

I've always wanted my name in a book. Although I'd prefer author rather than illustrator. Ideally both." Serge admitted sheepishly, "But I am an artist and I've always wanted my art to be featured in a book so I'm not complaining."

"These are some cool plants."

I've always wanted my name in a book. Although I'd prefer author rather than illustrator. Ideally both." Serge admitted sheepishly, "But I am an artist and I've always wanted my art to be featured in a book so I'm not complaining."

"You will be a full author one day Serge you can do anything, but this is a great start."

"I never meant to really hurt her, only get her to let go, I had to act fast and hard, I am smaller than an adult and three of them plus whoever they would call would be to many to fight with my magick bound down, so I had to act with enough force to shock and stun so I could get Case and run, it was tactics."

"But I don't understand how Evelyn can just...do it. I mean perhaps...possibly I could get to the point where I can accept treatment if the alternative was dying...but it would be horrible, but she...we can sit playing a game or something when I am at the hospital and a nurse will come and get her and she just go with them and then she comes back, she try to hide the needle marks form me but I see them and sometimes there are tears in her eyes but she just continue playing, how can she do that?"

"She is not afaid of needles themself child, not like you are, so she might be apprehensive when she knows something will hurt or cry a little afterwards but she do not fear more than that. It is like if I am doing complex magick that involve deep cuts, I feel apprehensive of the pain, or when I go to the deep massage therapist that have been working out the knots in my shoulders, shit but those treatments hurt but I am not afraid of them beyond being apprenhensive of pain. I am terrified of everything that numbers six though. If there is six cookies on my plate I can not eat them, if I am in a room with six others I panic, I can not understand how others do not find it terrifying. But such fear can be overcome child."
She said and she patted Anna on the hand, the little girl looked from her to you for a moment then she nodded.
"Yeah...I suppose but I...don't want to."
She said nervously.
"I want to talk about something else."

Hell, I would not be surprised if there were a few pacemakers and insulin pumps in every Tradition. And then there's the potential issue with other prostheses; if there's a discernible similarity or distinction to be found, that might make for a way to stop the problem..."

"If it is metal that is the problem then there might even be others at the Chantry. My Mentor tells me he got badly wounded with Primium many years ago and he have three steel pins which was used to hold his right leg together while he was healed."
Beatrice said and frowned.
"The thing is we do not know the scope of our problem yet, and it is our problem, not just yours Nicole ours as you are one of us now."

"I can understand Adley here Nicole, the way understood your words to it sounded like you said there was no point in telling Chief Morgan that something is happening since it would just affect you so he would do nothing, which I also think is unfair but I also understand your belief in this as you do not know the man like we do. Now yes off course if he had to choose between you dying and ten Chantry members dying he would have to choose the good of the many over the good of the few, but as it do not seam to be the case if he can help you can be sure that he will."

She said and she waited to see if anyone had something to say before she headed for the Orphan apprentice's small room.

He checked his pocket for his wand, dagger, and glasses, "Very well, shall we go, then?"

"I appreciate that dad and I have learned how lucky I am at that for many of the kids at the hospital, bot hospitals don't get a choice, their parents force them if they say no to a treatment."
Anna said and frowned deeply.

In fact you had gotten a bit of a reputation in the two children's wards for being very good at talking kids into going along with treatments they did not want, and talking parents out of forcing their children where treatment where a good idea but not immediately necessary and rather work on getting their kids to go along with it willingly.

After all, how many times have I heard a Fallen say, well, let's end it all, but later? Quite a few Fallen were upset that their leader's later was their now, weren't they? And that kind of thinking is unbalanced, isn't it? After getting to use, participate and learn from the entire universe as much as you like or feel you need, then you want to end it all, regardless that there could be another generation that could experience things, or learn with you, or wish things to continue. Granted, with the Fallen most often times what they want is quite awful, but that's not the case for you and a few others. There's a difference, and that's why we have hope. Because the spirit is eternal, it's up to us with our human limitations to remind him that there is more possible. "Yes I do actually I am talking with your Mentor right now in his office, I have been informed of some...problems I had to talk to him about and due to your question I suspect you are aware of these problems. I can inform you though that I have no implants of any kind, not even a tooth filling."

It was stupid, maybe, it was bread, but it was fresh bread and it was given to him and he hadn't felt so happy in a long time. "You truly are amazing."

"I appreciate that dad and I have learned how lucky I am at that for many of the kids at the hospital, bot hospitals don't get a choice, their parents force them if they say no to a treatment."

In fact you had gotten a bit of a reputation in the two children's wards for being very good at talking kids into going along with treatments they did not want, and talking parents out of forcing their children where treatment where a good idea but not immediately necessary and rather work on getting their kids to go along with it willingly.

He smiled thinly, "It is very rare that it's truly necessary to treat a child without taking the time to explain to them why they might need it. Unfortunately, parents can often be more stubborn than a toddler - which for parenting in general is a good thing, but when it comes to reasoning with a scared child... not so much. I think I might be making a good example at the children's wards recently, though... It only takes a few minutes out of my time when I'm there, and the nurses get to deal with a lot less screaming and kicking... even if the kicks are lighter than yours."

Narim gently, tenatively trouched your hand, you felt his long, strong fingers, his hand was smooth and you smelled the cent of spices and floral soap, he held your hand gently as if holding a most preciousl jewel.

Narim read the the note, squinting when your handwriting got hard to read then he nodded.
"I will inform him, and yes it is fairly advanced, I co located the fist tie to prove that I had the skill to be known as an Adept."
