Re: Paradox Spirit Under Your Bed
I want to know what kind of sphere of magick you have to fail for a paradox spirit to hide under your bed lol.
Actually it would fit a certainly fit a reckless child mage to have a 'monster' under their bed as punishment for irresponsible magick.

I think Mind. Esp if you removed the mask and there was no face behind it...
Or it could be a hobgoblin.
Or it could be a hobgoblin.

I can see that a child mage who is afraid of the monster under the bed who punish them if they are seen working magick that could fit very well. Or a Paradox spirit who become a reckless mage parent's invisible friend who punish the parents when they are bad.

Ohh I like that for a Paradox spirit a faceless man hiding under the mage's bed.
But yeah allot of Mage horror games have had slasher hobgoblins chasing magick users through the chantry with a knife.

"Um, honey, your dad and I felt something just now... was something in here?"
"Yes, mommy, a nice, really old man sat down for a tea party and explained to me that I did something bad, and that he wasn't going to punish me for it, but that I shouldn't do it again... mommy, why did your hair just turn white? And why did daddy faint in the hallway?"

I suppose that's better than "Dad? Please don't just casually invite Old Man Wrinkle for tea while we're, uh, playing board games in the living room again? At least, give us a warning first."
