About the apartment layout, since there seems to be some confusion about location, location, location - here's roughly how I understood the apartment layout; correct me if I'm wrong, Anja.

Where H=Hallway, K=Kitchen, B=Bedroom (unused), L=Living Room (and torture chamber) with napping ghoul, and S=Shawn's cell. With the top-right corner being an as yet unexplored room.

I was mainly confused by the fact Colin was talking like they were in the same room; I was under the impression that Adley/Colin/Serge were in the 'cell room' while Nicole/Hildegard were in the living room. Which is why at this point she's made no recognition whatsoever to the vampire [was assuming she'd not seen him yet]. She might not like vampires, but she's not that rude to simply blank him out of her existence.

And pedantic point of the day; it's an apartment, not a house. *smirks*

Oh, couldn't have this been put in our makeshift 'OOC of IC' thread 'Downtime Planning'? This is exactly the kind of question which the thread is for!

I am horrible at explaining space. Here is what the apartment look like.

A; Storage unit slash Shawn's call.
B: Hallway
C: Main bedroom
D: Living room, kitchenette and torture room
E: Bathroom
F: Second bedroom

Sorry for the confusion I am really bad at locations just like I am horrible at finding my way I do not have a good special sense. I think a thread for this is fine.

To sell the 'keeping stuff like this in just one thread' argument, I'll cite the fact that I basically watch this forum from afar via the email notifications. Therefore I notice [from the email] a 'reply to subscribed thread' but a new thread relies on me physically noticing it on the forum's frontpage. This is harder to do as a) you don't have a 'recent topics' ticker and b) I sometimes use the email link to go direct to the IC thread.

While this may read as a criticism, it's more merely a statement that in effect 'I [might] use the forum in a different way' and therefore may miss stuff.

Basically, the issue of risk of something slipping under the radar versus subject bloat...

Then again when different topics are in different threads they are easier to find than have all OOC in one massive thread. But yes we do use both but I do not see a reason to move this conversation now since we are basically done with it.

But yes like Warp say it is subject bloat vs notability.

Well, there's two options for a solution if you're worried about bloat [though think it's not much a worry on this topic]:

#1: Put the 'recent topics' ticker onto this forum [I can talk you through this, Great One].

#2: That when a new topic is felt to be required, a note/link is put into the 'main OOC thread'.

Might put a link in an OOC comment in the IC thread; might be more practical for relevance.

That too. But this is a decision which should involve everyone; aka finding a way in which everybody would notice easily.

Absolutely and for me it do not matter much at all, it is more bigger OOC topics which could be practical to have in it's own thread not little questions. I am ok with having those in one thread if it makes it easier for everyone.
