Well I do like things that add little details and a touch of realism to the game.
Re: Downtime planning thread.
I thought it was physically attacking them as it had teeth and such but he may have responded similarly anyway to an incoming mental attack.

I should have made it clearer the spirit was attacking mentally. I thought about having it do a wild boar rush but i thought that the main weapon of what it is a personification of are mental, it is getting one poor group to hate other poor grounds and no one to look at what it is actually doing so that would be a more natural attack for it than to rush the car.
Re: Downtime planning thread.
Wait... is Serge left-handed? I don't remember that being mentioned anywhere, and it's not mentioned in his thread... [well, I did a quick search of 'left' on it and nothing].

I believe Serge is right-handed. At least that's how I've always pictured it.

The very fact a: you've not considered this yet and b: you've got him using charcoal without the edge of his hand smudging it all the time makes me think he's a righty.

#1: Is the floor concrete or wood?
#2: Are the screws standard type [aka Phillips]?
#3: Are they screws, or more 'bolts which look like screws'?

The floor is wood.
Yes they are Phillips.
They are long Phillips I think that is what they are called they are what you would use to screw something heavy into your wall.

RE: Thread.
How far away is the 'main group' to the rear door / Subaru? The apartment building won't be that large for it to take more than a minute or so to travel through it...

Not far let us say halfway down the stairs, I was just letting everyone respond before taking the scene outside. The Subaru are just a few meters from the back door.
Re: Downtime planning thread.
Thanks. I've left it a little vague so to let others get to the point they see the spirits.

Yeah for most scenes we can just keep going but when things are happening we have to wait for the others to let them react as well. I rolled Initiative for Nicole it ended up at 10.

RE: IC Thread.
We've hit a bit of a snarl; Nick followed Colin out of the house, but Colin's already done 75% of the conversation in the car with Adley. Due to the situation, I don't think she'd simply stand around silently...
Anyone got any ideas on how to square this circle?

Re: Downtime planning thread.
She could have gone to check on the car perhaps, or checked on Serge and Shawn in the house that would work, sent some text messages perhaps or had a look around?
Re: Downtime planning thread.
Normally, I would have considered any of these [was thinking she'd go and look at the apple trees to see if they were good ones to make cider] but events + Colin have stoked up the sense of urgency and frankly it would be utterly unlike her in RP terms to dally. She can't even go to the bathroom as she'd have done that when patching up her leg...
Thus why I'm posting in this thread, and not the IC one. Only thing I can think of is that she gets a short fluff phone call [but related to the main plot, so she simply doesn't tell them to ring back later] which delays her for a minute or so.

Re: Downtime planning thread.
On the other hand, I suppose Nicole might seize any opportunity to delay forced company with Adley.

Re: Downtime planning thread.
Well the conversation between Adley and Colin are just a few replies back and forth so we are taking under a minute here, perhaps 30 seconds for the conversation that is not a huge delay, her fixing her booth or something should pretty much cover it.
Re: Downtime planning thread.
I have given Nicole a text to reply to, or at least read and by the time she is done with that the others should be done talking.
Re: Downtime planning thread.
Forced company with Adley is not desired - esp as she'll need to fill him in on the situation. But this is a mission, so she'd simply 'suck it up' and not dally. And she wouldn't need to check the car for it's one she maintains and therefore it's great. Last, she hates waiting around [as seen in any 'meeting' scene].
Think I've found a half-arsed work-round solution. Half the issue was that the Adley-Colin bit came in during the time I was at work [and so I didn't have time to properly read all the posts, merely to skim through to find the bits relevant to Nick] so I didn't know how long said conversation went on...
EDIT: How ironic. Great One provides a 'snarl patch' just before I go to post my own patch.... *small smile*

Re: Downtime planning thread.
Well they are in a Cabal so they have to learn to work together.
Well then we have a solution for the situation at least.
