"Yes it is dangerous for all of us that have heard this now and overheard your conversation with this Tian, if what you say is really true then there are some powerful people that stand to loose allot if this can be proven and if the information is true then they seam to lack morals and scruples to stop them from literary doing anything to a person if it benefit them so yes we will have to be careful."

I believe it can be proven, but it would require the right Mage to prosecute, and the presence of all the Primi... and as many Masters and above present as possible. This could well be a bigger case than Heylel Teomim..."

"Well if they did destroy a innocent Avatar then their betrayal in my mind is greater than that of Heylel Teomim Sir."

"If you can get such a trial going then apprentices five hundred years from now will learn about it."

"But like Mr Horton says, this is dangerous as hell, if some of the Primi are corrupt, they would do anything to keep that hidden."

He grimaced, "Destroying an innocent Avatar... that's one thing, but if they've basically sold the Traditions' highest court out to the Fallen? Heylel Teomim at least had the noble goal of unifying the Traditions through the consequences of his actions, the present case is more akin to deliberately driving a wedge into the whole foundation."

He grimaced, "Destroying an innocent Avatar... that's one thing, but if they've basically sold the Traditions' highest court out to the Fallen? Heylel Teomim at least had the noble goal of unifying the Traditions through the consequences of his actions, the present case is more akin to deliberately driving a wedge into the whole foundation."

"Yes you can have sympathy for Heylel, what he did was wrong, but then if he had not done it who knows where the Traditions would have been today, but if members of the Council have sold the Traditions out to the Fallen, that is just destructive, you are right Sir, that is a greater betrayal."
Qeb said and nodded then she gave a nervous smile.
"Then again I am probably not the one to speak, my Mentor and Master Arden named one of their children after Heylel so they have a bit of a more positive view of him than most of the Traditions."

"Ah yes I remember that package Sir." He muttered before he quickly moved to one of the shelves and after a few moments of looking through it produced a small box, wrapped up in brown paper, it was no bigger than what you would usually get jewelry in. "This is it Sir." Jones said. "The package that are going to the Spanish research Chantry.

As soon as he put his hands around the small box he felt a sweep of emotions that were not his...recognition, more sadness. Then the flickers began again and he stood there holding it, his hands tightening around the box. Heylel...his avatar, it's host (whomever it was) had witnessed him giving this locket and hair. People had done that before going away on campaigns of war, given them to a loved one...or as a memento mori if they died. Who was it that had witnessed his torture, down in the rooms...Horizon again? Tortured him for his betrayal before they shattered his avatar.

"So what do you want me to do with this package Sir you said it needed extra protection." You suddenly hear the Mercere say and his words bring you back to the present and to reality around you.

He was suddenly back in the vault with a jolt. Again, not much time to digest what had happened. It was like seeing someone flip through a photograph album but he knew it was real. This was not as physically shocking as being beheaded but...the sadness...the voice in his Seeking, the grimoire, and this was a key to it, in his hands. He looked at it, now searching for the names of whom had sent it, who it was to before answering. "Yes, it does. I'm going to give you some instructions...for now get the other packages, please." As much as he wanted to feel like this would be safe in the short term at Morningstar, the Chief had said where it was going so it could not stay there, at least not for long.

Where the elaborate stone structure of the portal had once stood, there where no just cold, gray unbroken granite floor.
"We will continue to protect, that is what we are."
The Umbrood replied in it's soft, ordered emotions.

He looked at it, now searching for the names of whom had sent it, who it was to before answering.

The package was sent by Lady Charlotte Quey the Seat of Life to Master Umberto Vidal and Master Heloisa Russo at Chantry Argentum Illustratio in the city of Fortaleza in Brazil.

"Yes, it does. I'm going to give you some instructions...for now get the other packages, please." As much as he wanted to feel like this would be safe in the short term at Morningstar, the Chief had said where it was going so it could not stay there, at least not for long.

"Very well Sir."
The young Mercere said, he took a thick, green cloth bag of a peg on the wall and started to reverently fill it with the letters and packages, he seamed to be honestly glad to be doing something to take his mind of all that had happened in this basement, part of a home that no longer felt safe for him, he did halfway turn to you though had he put a shoe box sized package into his bag.

What the hell was the Prima of the Seat of Life doing sending a bit of Heylel's hair to Argentina...and what did this do with the Grimoire? He would have to find out what this long game was and how or if it related to the experiments they were doing on poor Molly. But not now, he could not do it now, though he wanted to open the box and prove what he already knew was inside of it. More questions...

"I am aware of that Sir but we can not just keep it either, that is not something my House do, our reliability would be ruined if we just kept a package to secure it. I agree it have to go in a safe until it can be either delivered or sent back to Horizon to the sender, there is no other choice."

Adley sighed. "I never said I was going to keep it, nor that it was your property, nor that it should be locked up indefinitely. In fact, I rather do wonder how it came to be the property of the sender. But that is not here or there at the moment - this moment where we are about to have it taken from us by the Nephandi to be used against us and then there will not be any reason for you or anyone else to have it approved in such a manner. Surely keeping it safe until this immediate crisis has passed and safeguards enacted is only logical? That is what I am proposing, putting it in a safe that will not already suspected of containing it."

"We are bringing it to Morningstar are we not? Off course we are going to let them put the package in a safe until a proper escort can be assessable to either bring it back to the sender or safely to the recipient, unless the Primus have something else in min, that however is above my pay grade."
Jones said and gave a slight sigh.
"It is a sticky situation but there are rules that have to be applied, even in a sticky situation, so yes we have to bring the package to Morningstar and put it in their safe and then contact the Primus of my House to see how we should proceed from there."
He said sounding tired.
"No I do not want the Nephandi to get their hands on it, I would never want that so yes off course we have to keep it safe, but chances are that as soon as an escort can be arranged the package will be moving again, the mail have to be delivered, regardless of risk."

I have personally never tried it, but i belive it can be done, and Master Telar said she can. HE assured, fond of her abilities. SHe has some good friends. But please don't be scared, or you might scare her.

Until now, she's fond of spirits magick. And she meditates to cast it, so maybe she's able to blend with anyone of you. Maybe i could bring her some day and she can chat with anyone that might want to take up an apprentice. In any case, she needs a mentor if she's not to get trampled by any of the dangers of our world.

He frowned and fished out his phone, and tapped a message to Adley, "Are the bits of the Twin Lights of Morning secured? We are incoming; Adjan, myself, and three Morningstars in a green van."

Adley shook his head, a touch frustrated with what seemed a logical tactical option that was being negated, leaving him with fewer choices than he felt he should be able to have. Bureaucracy was starting to bite at them again, nibble along the edges of what made logical sense, what was necessary and what was supposed to happen according to the regulations. It was a hard thing, since it was not as if he did not believe in the laws himself but twice damned it was harder to follow them when others were not and using them to cover their tracks at the same time. It was the song and dance they'd been fighting against since they'd found out about Beatrice. But he knew he could hardly afford to be picked up and picked over for mail theft which was no small crime. It did not make it any less frustrating, though having it in a friendly place even for a small while was better than in enemy hands. Perhaps there would be a way to salvage it from there - and he knew more than he had before he'd laid hands on it.

"Well yes you are probably right about that Sir, but my mentor did name his child after the betrayer specifically actually, seeing little difference between him and what House Tremere and Flambeau did to Diedne, both where horrible things meant to stabilize their respective societies."

Alex declared and you could indeed see the decayed surroundings, abandoned housed and what had once been shops, the economic collapse had hit Gary hard and this section of the city seamed to have become more or less a ghost town.
"Should I drive all the way up to the Chantry or stop some distance away?"
He asked.

Adley:

"Hand it directly to him, no one else and do it in private as soon as you return to Morningstar. Tell the Chief to keep this in the safest safe he knows and to keep a lid on it till I get back and that I'll talk to him as soon as I can, please."

Jones said then he sigh.

He assured you.
"I will take this straight to Chief Joakaim and ask him to put it in a safe place until it can be delivered."
The Mercere promised as he finished with the last of the letters and packages and held out his hand for the one containing the betrayer's remains.

You phone ping again this time with the message from Colin.

(OOC: Yes I would say that they are pretty much in time synch now and Colin and the rest are rolling into the decrepit part of Gary where the old Post Office are located.)

"It is a shame that this place have fallen apart to this degree, this close to the airport you should believe there would be some value in the area, that a residential area for those who are working at the airport, complete with shops and eateries, and yet more and more move away from this area and I just do not understand it."

Colin glanced outside, "Hard to say... Perhaps there's some discontent with aircraft flying over. Perhaps it's the age of the houses. Perhaps, sometimes the best thing to happen to an area like this is something akin to the Roman urban renewals in year 64 and onward. There's a sort of rot that sets in; for one reason or another, a few families move, then their friends decide that they don't want to stay there, either, and their friends again find that the area's not the same anymore, and suddenly there is an exodus, and people outside who thought about moving see that the area is being abandoned, and reasonably enough assume there must be something wrong with the place... Maybe the trend will turn, maybe not. It... doesn't feel as sickly as where the Nephandus in the basement at Morningstar lived, though - that was a neighbourhood in dire need of, well, I believe the technical term is 'nuke and pave'; to start over with a clean slate."
He sighed, "Well, I've let Adley know we're incoming; hopefully, they've managed to secure the portal so that reinforcements going through it will be... impeded."

"But I guess nothing lasts forever and perhaps this neighborhood will revitalize again at some point, but then again as you said Mr Wainwright perhaps not and then I guess this area will eventually be used for something else."
The Etherite sigh then he gave a bit of a sad smile.
"But yes let us focus on the mission."

Alex drove towards the parking lot outside of the old video store but as you get closer you notice there is someone already there, a man and a woman standing in the parking lot and looking towards the Post Office, both wore long coats, the woman was dirty blond and the man was dark of skin and hair, they quickly glanced towards the pale green van as it came rolling and decided to be elsewhere and hurried down the street.

Yes they do look like magi, there are far to much swirling Quintessence in them for them to be sleepers, where where Quintessence in everything alive, hell even Mr Lenoe had Quintessence in him though his look as stale as what you would find in an old pond, but it was Quintessence all the same but someone with an Awakened Avatar would just have more of it and it would be more active so yes these two where mages, definitively mages.

Colin hissed slightly, "Bugger. Those two are Awakened. Can't tell anything more specific than that, but they've got plenty of Quintessence in them... I'm guessing Fallen, but they could be Technocrats... pursue them or warn the others?"

Alex nodded he drove towards the two fleeing mages, you see that the man is holding back, he could run faster than a normal man, but he would not leave the woman but you can see that running cost him nothing. The woman though made a signal for him and shouted at him to run while she pulled her gun from her belt. Alex now have the car up among side the pair though.
"Be careful...everyone."
He said as he focused on his driving.
