The problem's essentially been getting a reliable source for vaccines in hypospray form and the like, as opposed to the nasal spray which she cannot have due to the respiratory issues. So Nicole's star is likely to rise a fair bit in the Chantry for this. Wink

Yeah currently the hyper sprays available con't do it, the one the Etherite doctor have developed are a little more advanced, you would draw up a dose from a regular bottle using a transfer needle, this can be done before Anna enter the room, One doze bottles can just be placed inside of the machine itself with no need to draw the drug up or change out the inner chamber between medicine to avoid mixing them, place it in a chamber on the hyper spray and then it will do the job and get the doze down to the muscle efficiently and painlessly though there will be some sin irritation afterwards, the head of the device, which touches the patient are replaced between each patient so it is reusable as well, more similar to what some science fiction shows have than the very basic ones that exist today or sleepers.

OH!
That's right, at some point between the junkyard raid and Ghost Day, Colin's getting the first round of Paradox therapy from Cita. How'd that go? Razz

Let me see none of it are permanent so no cutting involved just making it backlash in a controlled way, let us say he got rid of three dots of Paradox and where running late all week, no matter how well he plans he is running late and having to stress to get to appointments in time, and annoying but not harmful backlash.

Colin might need another session then. Let me see for the second session he will spend two weeks having little accidents, nothing to serious, dropping his tea cup and breaking it, spilling food on his best jacket, that sort of thing, and he now owe Cita two favors but can start for the next thread with no Paradox.

Dry Dock will suggjest hyper sprays as well, their best Chemist Dr Thomson says that he can probably change any existing vaccine into an oral one but it will take time and work.

Vaccine. Nicole will 'think aloud' [not a suggestion, as she knows this isn't her area] about the possibility of doing any vaccines via skin absorption [like nicotine patches].

Oh, yes. Nicole needs to make contact with her family. Do you feel it need to be done/should be done IC, or can it be handled off-screen?

That will probably get Dr Thomson going as there have been some experimentation with that which have reached sleeper society, though such things will take some time.

That depends on you, do you want to make a scene of her contacting her family or do you want to do it of screen?

While this is a scene which would make a fairly good one to RP through, it's no way a critical one. In short: only if a) you have the mental energy, b) and physical time and c) we have enough time to squeeze it in before the end of the other currently running scenes.

Colin owes Cita favors?
Oh, now I must protest; I'm pretty sure Colin and Cita agreed that she owes him five (well, three now) controlled Paradox triggerings for his personally teaching her that rote.

I don't quite recall which thread that was in, but I can start searching. It'll just take a while. Razz

Oh, by the way - it doesn't look like Tane's planning to come back... but he and Colin were supposed to visit the werewolves for the memorial service for those who fell in the Labyrinth, and Colin was going to try to call and make a deal with Kristina's "gramps", the gemcutter werewolf - how'd those things turn out?

I am giving him 'till New Year's before I personally declare Tane MIA. However, this does make me wonder; does the Great One have an 'exit strategy' for said PC's?

Basically if he do not return soon we will probably skip the scenes he was supposed to be a part of and I will just mention them in the write up. Generally if a Character is abandoned I will play them as NPCs until I can leave them aside as minor NPCs and the player can have them back if they come back. With Tane who is pretty on and off I have made sure Tane is not a part of anything to important to the plot so the only thing that will fall though is the memorial service that I can do as a write up others scenes I will do without him until he return.

IC Thread: Misread a bit - he didn't give his word, but he *did* order the shooting down of the pair of Fallen when they were just trying to get out of there. https://chantrysteelhaven.forumotion.com/t143p400-hallways-of-flesh-lisa-larson-and-glorious-battle-ic-thread-25#20134

Not the most 'honourable' of actions - even though made sense on a pragmatic level [which was why Nick said nothing].

What to do? Retcon the last comment?

Retcon it might be a good idea or Nicole could remember it wrong since it was in the heat of the battle, your choice.

Basically Jeffry will see any enemy combatant as fair game, running or not but when he give his word he will keep it, he is a pragmatist but he is also proud and careful about keeping his word.

Chances are, Nicole wouldn't mis-remember; it was in relative lull in fighting, and she was watching the Chief carefully [noting what kind of leader he was - was he going to be one of those block-headed 'honour before reason' types etc.]

So, perhaps she can say instead 'what about those two Fallen, then? The one who were trying to pull back after I managed to get them to see fighting was pointless? Shooting in the back is hardly "honourable"'...
