Re: Away Thread
Now I've had a bit of a breather, think it's primarily pandemic-related stress; though in my case it's not really the disease itself, but the knock-on effects, like the fact I'm still partly working [which requires being outside] so many previously routine tasks have become much harder and I'm having to deal with more idiots than usual.

Re: Away Thread
I am probably among those who are the least affected by the current crisis, both me, my husband and my mother is on disability and my father in law work as a bookkeeper so he have worked from home for years, my occult studies are done from home and generally most of my hobbies can be done at home, my life have not really changed all that much but off course I to are stressed over this situation we all are and I do miss going to see my friends and my mother in person instead of keeping in touch by phone and internet. But yes I do think everyone are stressed.

Sorry about being a no-show; work and then had to deal with ex-furbaby. The brother of the one who went during lockdown. Went on their 16th birthday; massive stroke [apparently].

Re: Away Thread
He had a happy, long and healthy life by cat standards. And he'd remained active, alert and pain-free [apparently] right to the end - which is something anybody who's had pets would wish for.
I'll miss old Mr Sleep.

Re: Away Thread
Yeah I have been lucky with most of my pets, they have either died suddenly when quite old, or gotten illnesses that took them quickly without much pain. Maude my old cat was out hunting birds the day before she died of cancer, she was only really sick the last day. Yes she had some old man problems, but she lived a happy life until the last day.
Re: Away Thread
Sorry about today's no-show; been dealing with a surprising influx of free surplus fresh foods which, for obvious reasons demand instant attention.
