OOC For IC

[Starting this thread, solely for the direct IC questions we have...]

Okay, I have no idea what to do. We've had several rounds of conversation in the villa and nobody's even admitted Nicole's there. Or introducing her to anyone. Or having a cat react to her. Now, I can perform decent acts of 'working the kinks' out of IC threads to they keep on running but I've got nothing to grip on to to make this one work.

This means, it's up to you to sort out, Great One...

I think there have been a minunderstanding. Unless I have missed a post, Coawa held the door open for Nicole and then she have not done anything. None of the three Masters gathered int he villa is in the hallway they are in the living room and Nicole is the first one in, I assumed you would write a post about her entering and getting into the living room and interacting with the three men there or waiting for the others to come in after her.

You missed the last part of Nick's last post; I had Nick enter the property as Adley turned up; in the hope it would explain away the fact the Adley-NPC/Colin conversation Nick was not in.

Now she's stuck even more for now full conversations are happening within the villa where she is not existing in. She's basically in limbo.

This needs sorting before the snarl gets too obvious.

Why not just have her enter the living room, there she can interact with Jeffry and the two other Masters before the rest arrives, simple as that.

I'll do that then. However, that's going to be the most obvious and shortest post I've one so far IC. Which makes me wonder why you couldn't have done that and then started to knit the fraying ends together again...

Because I frankly did not really understand what the problem was. It seams there have been some misunderstanding so then jsut a short post to get past that is often the best. Is all good now?

The fact that the more posts which are missed, the length of time required to 're-sync' Nick back to everyone else becomes exponentially worse [A bit like Paradox...]. Example; took over an hour to do my last IC post; however luckily there wasn't much IC progression today or it would have taken much longer.

And I couldn't do it on my own as it involved other PC's / NPC's, which naturally I could not do anything about.

One part of one post was misunderstood. So sorry that I am not perfect, you will not find perfection and timing in play by post games are usually at times a bit shaky. Good, so then everything is good?

RE: Thread. I'm a bit confused; are the two women upright, on the floor or what? Does either one of them have have 'the upper hand' position-wise? Has one pinned/blocked the other, or could one simply retreat?

There are several pawn upright, the tree woman fighting with Amadeus, the mage wounded on the floor and the large pawn fighting with Nicole left alive and active, though the mage on the floor is pretty badly hurt. Yes the woman is upright the way I understand it both Nicole and the woman are upright and fighting one another non of them have a clear upper hand yet, both could retreat yes and there have been several blows and attempts and grabbing exchanged and clawing.

Is one of Nick's hands being restrained, or both? Surely the enemy wouldn't forget that *both* of Nick's hands have a weapon... [I won't mind if you retcon this...]

None of them is being restrained the grappling failed she was punched in the gut but she can move her hands and arms, the woman is trying to grab at Nick's gun hand.

Why can't Nick see the spirits? Has her spirit-glasses stopped working?

Their pressence arrive before the spirits themselves like an aura the despair is not an attack it is just a part of their beings. The spirits are not yet in the room Nicole is in.

Which wrist is the tentacle around? And I'm assuming that this enemy looks different to the last despair squid...

How the spirits look is hard to explain as they are so alien they just look like wrongness given form. Hum...probably the hand Nicole had her knife in.

Continuity error; Nassa wouldn't be able to see the wound through clothing... want to do a quick re-write? Nicole won't object save a sigh if the jacket sleeve has to be lost [again]...

Well he can feel it, and have a look at her arm also means feeling how it moves not necessarily looking at the wound itself, it should be written better but it still works.

Not that far, he is a little further into the room, perhaps five meters give or take.

The vampire is ntot hat far away so she stand a very good chance of hitting him.

The vampire have let go and is standing a bit stunned next to Nicole.

Yes I would say Nicole can reach her pistol with her free hand with a bit of shuffeling.

I'm not trying to hang your character. Seriously. IC or OOC I don't want to do that that, this is not a PVP game and anyways that's not how I play games with others, I collaborate. If I don't want to play with you I tell you. I won't set your character up. That's dirty. But if her actions keep being contrary to the safety of the cabal my /character/ will have to say something. When they're out of danger, not throw her under a bus during a fight setting her up in some kind of battlefield execution.

2 - the following people went with Adley: Antonio, Anna, Jon, Mr Amelie and friend, Gray, Helga Williams and Axel, who Anja listed. I think that Haagan was going to stay to watch Tali et al unless someone else could 'hold the fort' at the entry, or they need his power? And I think Ryan was going with them to help with the time stops? Is that right?

No worries, Strife. I wasn't suggesting anything. Merely painting a hypothetical example to show why I wasn't assuming any action(s) from anything, that's all. Here's another; 'Adley makes Nick come along because he feels her lack of professionalism means she can't be trusted to operate alone'.

So, from the sounds of it ultimately apart from a bit of shuffling, Adley *didn't* take Colin's team with? [Am unsure exactly what the full current roster is...]
