OOC For IC

Nick's plans are the opening of the symposium about lunchtime and she has been invited for dinner. She has other 'goals' but they're not fixed in the calandar, so to speak.

Serge's plan in no particular order:

1. Visit Kyle at the Cult of Ecstasy Manor.
2. If Master Babu is at the Manor, visit her as well. Tell her stories and if possible ask her for help with learning Astral Projection and other Mind 4 tricks.
3. Explore Concordia and buy or treasure hunt something interesting.
4. Serge has an invitation to the Cult of Ecstasy pocket Realm (link) so he'll probably visit there at some point.

I guess none of these are pressing for today?

Anyway, if your 4/ is what I think it is, Nick might be one of the very view willing to go along with him. Serge might think seeing Nick's 1/ [the display booths of the cybernetics conference] is worth a trip. She also has a fair amount of 'shopping desires/needs' in Concordia itself, which makes it relatively ideal for hers to combine with his.

Oh yeah joining Nick at the convention was definitely on my mind.

Serge could try and help Nick to find a patron and Nick could help Serge find practical gear and avoid the tacti-cool stuff she warned him about so long ago.

I am happy to keep the shopping scene alive for infodumping purposes and are kind of busy right now, but are aware of not wishing to hold up the other two PCs. So unless anyone objects, I can set up the new kitchen scene to keep that ball rolling...

I mean we could split the scene, keep the discussion going in the shipping scene when there is time and also move on to the scene in the kitchen.

By the way I might be slow to reply today as I am going home after visiting my mother for a week so I will be on a train all day.

I have a post brewing and bubbling away which I'll fire up as soon as I get home, just split between laptops at the minute.

RE: Lunch thread.

Suggest both Serge and Colin start their post-Lunch activities so a) the two chars have something to do IC and b) to give Meridia breathing-space to catch up [I suspect they'll feel less pressured if they know they have something 'else to do' RP-wise].

It have been so warm today and I had quite a few things to do and then I ahd a D&D session in the evening so I have not had the time to reply today. I will reply tomorrow.

RE: Thread. Think we've both screwed up the prices for things. If a coffee is 0.25N it would be four US cents (the exchange rate is about 6:1, as Warp laid out back then). So Nick's lunch bill should have been about 270N (and tip about 25N). The coffee price should be about 21N; anything lower, clearly the place has a 'tourist premium'.

Just inform me here whether the price is less/more/the same than USD and I'll simply handwave the earlier mistakes and we can continue...

It is about the same as in USD.

Colin's gonna Colin, in the sense of "Haters gonna hate" and such. It's a meme reference.

That may be true, but that doesn't change the fact Nick has nothing to reply to...

I did not notice the thread before now. Basically it is just a reference to Colin doing strange shit so there was no more really to tell about what was going on. As for the rest I thought what Nicole said was what she wrote to Colin since you are the only one who use bold script for speech and not "text" so I missed it sorry hopefully it is all sorted out now or is there anything else you are waiting for if so let me know and I will try to fix it.

Incorrect - Serge does it too. In fact, it was from them where I started to do it [I think]; we needed a method to sort out between 'internal thoughts' and 'spoken words'.

And are you saying you don't watch this thread? I can't speak for the others, but I have tried hard to not put anything directly relevant to IC play into it - just a place for messages like 'so, what are the PCs going to do next?', 'help, I don't get the reply', 'erm, I don't get what's happening right now' etc. Again, you complained that on occasion you missed such things in the main thread at it got buried in a load of new replies.

I've pretty much used "Spoken dialogue" versus 'Text messages and inner monologue' for clarity, with occasional emphasis in conversations. Seems fairly clear to distinguish what can be overheard vs. what can not...

Oh he do, that is possible I did not notice. The point is not to accuse you of anything just to explain why there was a misunderstanding, In the future you can just post a missed something post in the IC thread if a post or two go by and I do not reply for other than just having time to reply to one post and choosing one and replying to that and getting back to the others later that day I reply to everything so just say hey you missed something instead of waiting for many posts or pages to go by.
