Anja's Post:

'Oh, those little things, like bills for auto repairs. Got the eye for them, I have.' Nicole quipped, unloading the pistol, pocketing the rounds and putting it on the counter.

Anja's Post:

'Could be...' she commented, moving towards Violet. '-but not automatically. Some jobs eat gobs of time but not much in parts, like brake pipes - $40 for the roll, $350 for labour. Others could be "two days ID'ing issue and scratching ass, two hours fixing it". 'Still... might be something. Just dump it with the gun and we'll continue.'

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

Colin frowned, "I'm not sure a Linear Mage could do it, actually - the process binds one's Avatar into the lich's body, or possibly another physical item. It's what keeps the body functional posthumously. And yes, she had her reasons. Best not to pry, though..."

"I see so if one do not have an Awakened Avatar one can not become a lich Sir?"
The boy asked and sigh.
"Not that I want to but it is one more thing I can not do."

He smiled thinly, "Of course socializing with them in most situations would be illegal. The quite specific exception is for the purpose of combating the Fallen. While I will ask for directions around the Boston Umbra Port and the like, while on neutral ground, I'm not going to trust them much further than I could throw Manhattan."

"Well a Master of Forces would be able to throw Manhatten quite far Sir though the Paradox for such an act would be quite painful, or more likely not painful at all."
Heather said then she nodded.
"You are finding a loophole then to share knowledge about the ones who kidnapped me."

He smiled wryly, "Spirits don't see time like most people do - for them, everything happens in the same, infinite Now. So if a spirit has a bad day, it's generally due to interacting with something that experiences time linearly - meaning people."

"How do they know when to do things if they do not have a concept of linear time Sir?"
Avery asked.
"I guess we better try to avoid angering the spirit further then."
He said and nodded.
"And just leave him alone. What about the water spirits though Sir are they angry to?"

He nodded, "A bowl is a nice, traditional tool. It's not the glasses, for me, but the circular frames, actually."
He fished out a monocle and showed her, "If you look closely, you might spot the fine engraving on the inner edge of the silver loop, flush against the edge of the glass."

Felicia took the monocle and carefully studied the engravings around the edge.
"This is beautiful work Mr Wainwright. Did you create it?"
She asked as she handed it back to you.

He nodded, pausing thoughtfully, "I just might hold you to that sooner than either of us expects..."

"I will be there when you need me as long as my duty to my House do not prevent me."
Felicia promised.

Colin bowed as deeply as was proper, "Milady Crexia, I bring good tidings; the Boston Labyrinth is no longer there. I was hoping Master Adimari was still here, as well as Mrs. Piti... And Master Min, if available. And, of course, I am here to pick up Anna and ask you to deposit her books and marbles in my apartment, if it is convenient for you."

"Well the demise of our enemies are always good tidings, I take it this woman Lisa Larson have either met her end or been captured then?"
Crexia asked and she seamed quite pleased.
"Master Adimari are in the basement talking with the girl she plan to apprentice, Mrs Piti is still visiting as well she said you would meet her here she is in one of the sitting rooms upstairs I believe, Master Min where on his way to the library the last I saw him and as for your apprentice's belongings if you give me exact coordinates or an arcane connection to your apartment and let me through Steelhaven's wards I can do that at once."
The archmage said.

You saw Philippa entering the cafeteria she had with her a girl you had seen around Morningstar, perhaps she was 15 or so, she was cute with long curly hair in a ponytail, wearing thorn jeans, a tshirt with a band logo and a open plaid shirt over it.
"Sit here and I will see if Mirri have some huice and a light meal Rebecca."
Philippa ordered. Rebecca nodded and she took a napkin from the table and wiped a thin film of blood of her right hand as she waited.

[Nicole] (In the old auto shop at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

'Oh, those little things, like bills for auto repairs. Got the eye for them, I have.' Nicole quipped, unloading the pistol, pocketing the rounds and putting it on the counter.

"Ah I see Miss...and a weapon as well, now that is useful."
Violet said and grinned.
"Is that what you work with? If you don't mind me asking Miss, auto repairs and machines?"
The Verbena asked as she searched.

'Could be...' she commented, moving towards Violet. '-but not automatically. Some jobs eat gobs of time but not much in parts, like brake pipes - $40 for the roll, $350 for labour. Others could be "two days ID'ing issue and scratching ass, two hours fixing it". Then they might just be a shop who took customers for a ride.' dropping into a professional tone, ending with a shrug.

"Yes but the work is listed seperatly...look..."
Violet handed you a sheet where three new sparkplugs had bee brought for 600 dollars then there was noted a car was fixed with them and the labor came to 200 dollars.

'Still... might be something. Just dump it with the gun and we'll continue.'

The young Verbena nodded again and placed the suspicious documents on the counter.
"Are this room done then? Should we move on to the next Miss?"
She asked.

[Tane] (Labyrinth Master Dupre's strike team, 3: 30 in the afternoon.)

We were made like this by this laws. We are meant to change it, we are agents of change and adaptation

"So you say but if you can change anything who is to say you did not change the laws as well?"
Dino asked clearly still not sure if he really aproved of mages.
"Well in either case your kind are better than the damned wyrm tainted vampires."
He declared and growled at the thought.

That, my friend, is the question whose answer i fear.

Dino nodded darkly at that.

War is a horrible thing. Not fair, not pretty, but today it was needed. You can't protect them and shield them without denying them of what they are: warriors. Be proud they fullfilled their roles in all this and can now rest.

"You are right of course Tane but even so I wish I would have been able to do more."
The werewolf said sadly as you got to the strange glyphs marking where the portal to the shopping mall garage was located.
"Well let us leave this foul place."
Dino said.
"Though I would have preferred to burn it to the ground, it leaving this plane of reality is going to have to be enough."

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]
"I see so if one do not have an Awakened Avatar one can not become a lich Sir?"
The boy asked and sigh.
"Not that I want to but it is one more thing I can not do."
Colin nodded, "I believe that to be the case, yes... But honestly, not many Awakened Magi are able to make themselves do that, either, so I don't think you are at a particular disadvantage in that regard... Chief Joakim might know more about such possibilities, though."

"Well a Master of Forces would be able to throw Manhatten quite far Sir though the Paradox for such an act would be quite painful, or more likely not painful at all."
Heather said then she nodded.
"You are finding a loophole then to share knowledge about the ones who kidnapped me."
He smiled wryly, "A Master, certainly, but I can scarcely do more with that Sphere than to see which way the wind blows, or sense if a cable carries electrical current. Can't even light a candle without matches or a lighter. But yes, Dalisse and I determined that the two agents who abducted you were indeed Fallen, which presents a very neat loophole for which to out them to the Union."

"How do they know when to do things if they do not have a concept of linear time Sir?"
Avery asked.
"I guess we better try to avoid angering the spirit further then."
He said and nodded.
"And just leave him alone. What about the water spirits though Sir are they angry to?"
He smiled, "Most of them simply do as they see the need for it - or immediately as when asked to or commanded by someone who can do so. I don't think a spirit can be made to do something at a specific point in time, though, except by reference to when certain conditions are met at the same point in the Now. As for the water spirits, no, they are playful and needy, asking for treats."

Felicia took the monocle and carefully studied the engravings around the edge.
"This is beautiful work Mr Wainwright. Did you create it?"
She asked as she handed it back to you.
He nodded, "Made a set of six, years ago; one for each of the Spheres I'd figured out by that time. I've expanded a little on my repertoire since then, but mostly, I've worked with a wand or by drawing up a circle. I'm going to have to make a few new tools now, though..."

He nodded and fished out his Correspondence monocle, concentrating on his living room table and muttered a quick "Domum spectare", then handed the monocle to Crexia, "Will this suffice? And I believe I shall escort Mrs. Wellspring to Mrs. Piti first, then."

((OOC: So, C2, a simple enough application to create a clear link through the wards and into the apartment, Arete comes to 8,9,0... That oughtta do it.))

He stepped over to Philippa, bowing politely "Ah, Lady Arden, I'm glad to have managed to dispose of the wayward blood sample... I should like an audience with your husband and little Heylel, before I head home, if that is agreeable. Preferably by proper introduction so i do not spook Master Ir."

((OOC: And the little tyke is adowable. Very Happy ))

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

Colin nodded, "I believe that to be the case, yes... But honestly, not many Awakened Magi are able to make themselves do that, either, so I don't think you are at a particular disadvantage in that regard... Chief Joakim might know more about such possibilities, though."

"That is true I guess I am just sensitive I guess Sir, not many would want to become a lich, I would not want to forsake my Mentor and my friends and never see them again and if I had an Avatar I would not want it to not reach Asencion as that is sort of the point."
The little boy said and nodded solemnly.

"I can lift small objects and the like and change the direction of a breeze Sir but yes I do hope it all work out and those two are caught, though I do feel a little bit bad for the one who got shot in the head that looked rather painful."
Heather said and frowned.

"It must be strange to be a spirit, I would not know when my favorite show was on, and then that show would laft for ever and never end."
Avery said and scratched his head clearly not quite wrapping his head around it.
"The water spirits are kind of like pets then Sir?"
The boy asked and you could see the little spirits dancing around him wanting him to run with them again, they wanted a playmate.

He nodded, "Made a set of six, years ago; one for each of the Spheres I'd figured out by that time. I've expanded a little on my repertoire since then, but mostly, I've worked with a wand or by drawing up a circle. I'm going to have to make a few new tools now, though..."

"You are quite the skilled craftsman then mr Wainwright."
The Mercere said then she nodded.
"I tried to work with wands once, it did not do much for me though, then again i never got longer than perceving things."

He nodded and fished out his Correspondence monocle, concentrating on his living room table and muttered a quick "Domum spectare", then handed the monocle to Crexia, "Will this suffice? And I believe I shall escort Mrs. Wellspring to Mrs. Piti first, then."

"That will do fine, if you give me but a moment then Mr Wainwright."
Crexia said as she took your monocle and begun to elegantly move her hands over them using the old Hermetic system and she muttered in Greek, closing her eyes for a moment and she looked like she sorted though something in her mind then she opened her eyes again and handed the monocle back.
"It is done Mr Wainwright, your apprentice's belongings are placed in your living room."
She anounced as she handed it back.
"Yes I do believe Mrs Piti would be quite pleased to get her wife returned."
She added and Heather smiled indicating she would be quite pleased to be rejunited with her wife as well.

"So I did and the treacherous phycician as well, his blood now feed my World Tree."
The old Verbena anounced in a hard tone of voice.
"The blood on Miss Stone's hand though where not from that, I am afraid there was a complication with your young apprentice, do not worry she is fine now, but she started bleeding internally, I managed to stop the bleeding and get the shed blood out, but she needed a transfusion and Miss Stone where kind enough to give her some of hers, and do not worry I used magick to transfer the blood through the girl's hands so I would not upset Anna, and the method is also quite painless."
Philippa assured you.
"Ah I see, well let me make sure Miss Stone gets some juice and a meal and that she is allright and then I will talk with my husband and you are welcome to visit for a bit of afternoon tea, what if we say in about fifteen minutes?"

(OOC: So she is but she is also still hiding in her transport box and I did not want to shake her out so I just opened the lid and put the box in her enclosure so the can go and explore when she feels ready.)

"And you are right to worry, depending on the result of your Cabalmate's Avatar examination this situation can go very, very badly." Jeffry said and frowned. "I will do what I can to protect him, however there is a limit to my influence."

"I need to talk to Master Telar, too...he's going to need some help." He wrote, 'He's going to need her help and it seems my help, so says my avatar. I am worried about his avatar but I believe he is not Fallen, at least not yet. However, he is collecting pieces that are not his and we will need to rid some and clean others where we can. I am not sure exactly how the latter will be done but I do believe it to be possible, if extremely difficult, I have had hints and there is much for me to try to piece together and as fast as we can. He is like a constellation of stars where some of them are dark stars, the balance is not yet tipped over I think but it is worrying. I am not sure how it will look on scans, I am Did you hear about what happened to the caul's sister? She is in the hospital on life support. I hope she makes it.'

"You are not fond of it...imagine how I felt mea filius when the man rushed past me and literary jumped into the Caul I was pretty sure my heart would stop."
Jeffry said and he handed you the wrapped candle. "As Cencure I think I will have him cover the cost of herbs to dye my hair back to brown." He said wryly only half joking.

"Jesus. I'm glad I didn't see that, no offense but I can't even think how I would have reacted, bad enough when I found out." He sighed, shaking his head.

"Perhaps we should consult Master Steelhaven he knows more about time magick than anyone here, just to be sure for I share your concerns mea filius."

"Alright. When would be a good time to do that? Oh, irony..." He dug into his bag a moment, pulled out a wipe, swiped grime off of his face so he could drink his water.

"If you can not, then ask Mr Darehill's aid again, I will cover the Quintessence cost and payment for a time bubble."
Jeffry offered.
"So what needs to be done can be done."

"Thank you sir. I wouldn't be the only one that need it, I don't want to take up all our resources but I can feel the wall there. I can't remember when the last sleep was or even what time it is now. Everything is different, I just feel like I will keep going until I cannot. Like marching while asleep...I will feel like hell rolled over when I wake up, I wonder if this potion will still be good by then..." he muttered, remembering the thermos in his bag. "Or if I should take it before I go rest."

"Yes mea filius please do." The old Hermetic said and nodded before he stood and checked on his coffee and filled himself a cup. "I swear there is more of this stuff in my veins than blood at the moment."

"Alright, so should I just wait outside till you're done then have that other talk, or try to find the Primus and chat with Colin?" he asked before he left to go get Cecelia. He wiped the board clean and then put it away, standing to head to the door to get her when he got the answer.

[Adley] (Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

"I believe Cita are with her patients...and yes I am concerned about Mr Wainwright."
Jeffry said as he read what you had written.
"And concerned about the connection you mention to your own Avatar. And yes something have to be done but exactly what I am not sure. I also do not think your Cabalmate is Fallen but im collecting Fallen shards do concern me greatly.

"I think we better hope the idea to save Miss Florentine works perhaps she can give us some hints."
Jeffry said looking down at the tablet.
"It is worrying indeed and I do worry about the scans and what those might show. I have been informed about Miss Larson yes, I to hope she will pull through, her brother have been placed with the others who lost their lives in a pocket realm, at least we can give the child a proper burial, at least we can do that much for him."

"Jesus. I'm glad I didn't see that, no offense but I can't even think how I would have reacted, bad enough when I found out." He sighed, shaking his head.

"Yes it was not a plesant sight and while his mad plan worked, we still do not know the full extent of the cost."
Your Mentor said darkly.

"Alright. When would be a good time to do that? Oh, irony..." He dug into his bag a moment, pulled out a wipe, swiped grime off of his face so he could drink his water.

"As soon as possible...hum I think we do it this way, you call Mr Wainwright and check in with him about the situation with Cecilia while I have a talk with her, then I discuss with Mr Darehil about a time bubble and you and the others that sorely need it get some rest, then we go and talk with Master Steelhaven."
Jeffry said and the tapped his lips with his fingers as he tought out loud.

"Hum...that is one complication you should ask Master Haagen about it, and perhaps one of the healers as well, I will gather those who need rest the most and talk with Mr Darehill, I just need to speak with Cecilia first and you should confer with your Cabalmate...and also take two minutes mea filius and get a shower, it might seam pointless but you house an angel, you will feel better if her vessel is clean."
Jeffry said as he thought of the order to do things.

"Alright, so should I just wait outside till you're done then have that other talk, or try to find the Primus and chat with Colin?" he asked before he left to go get Cecelia. He wiped the board clean and then put it away, standing to head to the door to get her when he got the answer.

"You should call Mr Wainwright while I talk with Cecilia and then if there is time ask Master Haagen about his potion and resting, then you can return and we can discuss her options with her together, perhaps Mr Wainwright will have some input on that."
The old mage said as he sorted through things and tried to get things done as efficiently as possible.

Interesting, I always thought there we're some universal laws we can't affect. I suppose you are right, but only if we take the másters into account. We have severe limitaciones to anything we can do.

Don'tworry, It Will simply crumble to nothing, from when It came

"He kept most of it secret Mr Yager, he said the the void is the space outside and between space, and that he travel though it using a ship that is similar to a spaceship but not quite the same."
Eliza said and smiled a little.
"But no he have not been talking about any adventures."

"Awww man. Bet he has a bunch of fun stories and adventures." Serge mused. "Oh well, I'm surprised you know as much as you do. Never thought the Technocracy would share that much information to one of their worker's children. Hell at one point I didn't think they were allowed to have children..."

"No Dr Yager, he have not moved at all, such thing often takes time though."
Allison said and she gave the man a concerned look.

"I know you told me that it might be for the best if we left him alone within his own mind, but I can't help but feel that that's a little cruel. He's drowning in his own fear unknowing of what's happening on the outside and if he does know imagine his terror seeing what's happening to him while he can't move his body. I still think I should visit him and just let him know things will be alright." Serge said as he gave the man the same concerned look.

He turned his head towards the other man, who he recognized from Adley's note. "What about him? Has he said anything or moved at all since he arrived. I think he's the reason I brought the fish." Serge asked Allison.

'Might do. Might not.' Nicole replied airily to Violet's question, giving a significant look back at the doorway of the office, now containing the Mirrorshade.

Anja's Post:

'Shit... not even the densest airhead or timid old lady would accept that.' she quipped on looking at the paperwork. 'If they were gonna scam, a list of non-jobs would be listed, it would. This place could be a laundry.'

Anja's Post:

A nod of agreement to this; it was best to do things like this methodically, even though her instinct was to simply go through the "most interesting things" like a child opening the biggest Christmas present first...

"I believe Cita are with her patients...and yes I am concerned about Mr Wainwright." Jeffry said as he read what you had written. "And concerned about the connection you mention to your own Avatar. And yes something have to be done but exactly what I am not sure. I also do not think your Cabalmate is Fallen but im collecting Fallen shards do concern me greatly.

"I have some...well, they're not quite theories yet...I haven't had enough time to put it all together, and I keep getting new pieces," he said as he wrote, 'I have been seeing avatars lately since our lodger arrived unexpectedly. One of them was the newly awakened avatar of one of Jace's experimental subjects. The poor man awoke under those circumstances, and the avatar told me that it was not meant to be awake yet. The Master should see him when she gets a chance as the avatar said he was stuck in his mind - he could be in a Quiet. Once his trauma is healed he will need a patient teacher for his magick will be slow to grow. The avatar also told me something else while waiting to be allowed back into her host. Several times has the shard of the umbrood been called the beacon, and she said this and that he was the hermit, an echo of guides long past, something that can be a guide in the future. This seems somewhat different from what the Umbrood was when it was broken, I wonder what we are doing to one another while we share the space of my avatar but perhaps there will be something wonderful that can help those that are lost.'

"I think we better hope the idea to save Miss Florentine works perhaps she can give us some hints." Jeffry said looking down at the tablet. "It is worrying indeed and I do worry about the scans and what those might show. I have been informed about Miss Larson yes, I to hope she will pull through, her brother have been placed with the others who lost their lives in a pocket realm, at least we can give the child a proper burial, at least we can do that much for him."

"Yes," he said to the first comment.

"Very good."

"Good idea, I'll ask him when I go downstairs. It's not his potion though," he said, tipping his head. "It is The Master Verbena's brew. I'm sure that not only my body and avatar might appreciate me having a shower, but all those that might be trying to sleep near me," he said wryly. "I'll have more clothing to burn up and also I have a potion that I need to destroy so that the links are gone from it."

"You should call Mr Wainwright while I talk with Cecilia and then if there is time ask Master Haagen about his potion and resting, then you can return and we can discuss her options with her together, perhaps Mr Wainwright will have some input on that." The old mage said as he sorted through things and tried to get things done as efficiently as possible.

"Very well, I will go talk to my amicus after I bring her to you," he said, with a nod. He then left to go help Cecelia into the office.

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]
"That is true I guess I am just sensitive I guess Sir, not many would want to become a lich, I would not want to forsake my Mentor and my friends and never see them again and if I had an Avatar I would not want it to not reach Asencion as that is sort of the point."
The little boy said and nodded solemnly.
Colin smiled, "Lichdom does not seem like a very pleasant way to spend eternity, having to forge new relationships from the start and watching everyone grow old while you don't change at all... Being a bit sensitive is a good thing, I think - it shows there's a bit of the spark left in you, perhaps."

"I can lift small objects and the like and change the direction of a breeze Sir but yes I do hope it all work out and those two are caught, though I do feel a little bit bad for the one who got shot in the head that looked rather painful."
Heather said and frowned.
He nodded, "And with a bullet that made him reexperience his most intense memory, at that... I'm halfway suspecting that would be the memory of the Caul. Not a good place to remember. But really, I did not shoot him until after he tried to blow up my head; I could have a strong argument for self-defense there. Plus, their wards were sloppily designed."

He grinned, "Well, yes, but the opposite is also true - spirits think it must be strange to be incarnated. The water spirits... hm, perhaps not so much pets as simply strays that are friendly to people. Sort of like if a sweet old lady starts feeding a pack of stray cats who tolerate people and accept being petted, but won't set foot indoors..."

"You are quite the skilled craftsman then mr Wainwright."
The Mercere said then she nodded.
"I tried to work with wands once, it did not do much for me though, then again i never got longer than perceving things."
He smiled, "I like to think so, but I have much to learn yet. I've seen the piece I'll make for my wife to be - I'm not quite skilled enough to do that complex filigree work just yet..."

He bowed politely, "Thank you, Milady. i am sure Anna will be happy to see her marbles are safe, and her library. Speaking of, are you familiar with the Creation of the Mage's Child? Ah, perhaps we can discuss that later, though; priorities. I need to get the book properly translated, in any case..."

"So I did and the treacherous phycician as well, his blood now feed my World Tree."
The old Verbena anounced in a hard tone of voice.
He nodded, "I hope you were not too harsh on the physician - he did act under duress, after all... I'm not saying his betrayal did not deserve death, mind you - just that he did not necessarily deserve extended torment after the torture he had already suffered..."

He smiled, "Thank you - that means a lot... i know she had a rupture - likely from the strain earlier this morning... I'm not going to tack that on to the extant complaint, though; I'll leave that decision up to you."
He nodded to Rebecca, "Thank you... you have no idea how precious Anna is."

"Ah I see, well let me make sure Miss Stone gets some juice and a meal and that she is allright and then I will talk with my husband and you are welcome to visit for a bit of afternoon tea, what if we say in about fifteen minutes?"
He nodded, "Fifteen, though I might just become a little bit tardy. I'll have to introduce a pair of, ah, clever aunts to Anna, as well."
He bowed politely, "I'll see you then, Ma'am."
He headed back to Heather, "Well, then, arrangements in place... Let us get you reunited with your wife, and then we can get you both introduced properly to my little girl."
He offered his arm and gestured toward the stairs.

((OOC: Give'er time, she's probably a bit scared and confused; no need to shake her up further. I'm guessing she might explore her new home a little more after sunset...))

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

Colin smiled, "Lichdom does not seem like a very pleasant way to spend eternity, having to forge new relationships from the start and watching everyone grow old while you don't change at all... Being a bit sensitive is a good thing, I think - it shows there's a bit of the spark left in you, perhaps."

"Perhaps not Sir, then again allot of magi live for a really long time while their sleeper friends and other mages who do not extend their livespans grow old so that would be about the same right?"
Avery said then he nodded.
"Perhaps so...I do not know Sir."
He muttered about having some spark left in him.

"Their wards where sloppily made Sir that I agree with, as for the man you shot, it was self defense and defense of another...he tried to blow up your head though are you okey Sir?"
Heather asked seamed concerned.

"You may be right Sir that the spirits also think we humans are strange, but even so I can not imagine living without time, then again perhaps it would be better to do so, after all if there where no time then my Avatar would still be alive."
Avery said and smiled sadly.
"Well those water spirits sounds like fun friends to have Sir."
He commented.

He smiled, "I like to think so, but I have much to learn yet. I've seen the piece I'll make for my wife to be - I'm not quite skilled enough to do that complex filigree work just yet..."

"Well you do seam to be quite skilled at looking into the future at least Mr Wainwright, and your foci are beautiful."
Felicia said.
"And I am sure that when you evnetually do make the piece you talk about for your wife she will be very happy with it."

"It was no bother Mr Wainwright...hum yes I do know the spell you speak of but that is a complicated topic so it might be best to discuss later yes, you have a book that needs translating?"
Crexia said and she raised an eyebrow.

He nodded, "I hope you were not too harsh on the physician - he did act under duress, after all... I'm not saying his betrayal did not deserve death, mind you - just that he did not necessarily deserve extended torment after the torture he had already suffered..."

"I do not relish the suffering of others Mr Wainwright I did not torture him, my blades are sharp and I made only enough cuts to bleed him out and feed my tree."
Philippa said frimly as if the thought of torture for the sake of torture offended her sensibilities.

He smiled, "Thank you - that means a lot... i know she had a rupture - likely from the strain earlier this morning... I'm not going to tack that on to the extant complaint, though; I'll leave that decision up to you."

"I would add that to the complaint Mr Wainwright, I am quite certain the rupture would not have happened if the child had not be scared into a panic, she is delicate for now Mr Wainwright, keep that in mind when you bring her home, she will need to spend a good deal of time in bed and do not let her get to upset or to overexert herself for now, she will get better but right now she require rest and medical supervision."
The old Verbena said.

He nodded to Rebecca, "Thank you... you have no idea how precious Anna is."

"Nah don't worry about it man, it did not hurt it just felt a bit funny, not like when I turned sixteen a few months ago and decided to donate blood at a clinic, thought it would be a nice thing to do you know since I have a rare bloodtype, now that hurt, it hurt quite a bit I am not doing that again, helping that kid out though was no trouble."
Rebecca said and shrugged.

He nodded, "Fifteen, though I might just become a little bit tardy. I'll have to introduce a pair of, ah, clever aunts to Anna, as well."
He bowed politely, "I'll see you then, Ma'am."

"I see well let us say thirthy minutes then Mr Wainwright and yes I will see you then."
Philippa said and smiled.

He headed back to Heather, "Well, then, arrangements in place... Let us get you reunited with your wife, and then we can get you both introduced properly to my little girl."
He offered his arm and gestured toward the stairs.

Heather gently put her hand on your arm and walked with you up the stairs.
"Yes Sir, I am so looking forward to seeing her again, when I was kidnapped I was worried I never would see her again."
Heather said and looked down as Felicia and Avery gave you a little wave as you left.

(OOC: Yes I suspect so, at least now she have un curled her legs and have spread out more which is a sign she is getting less stressed,)

[Adley] (Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

"You have been seeing Avatars mea filius? That is quite rare, usually powerful magick have to be cast to make them show themselves."
Jeffry said and he frownd as he read about the poor, unfortunate newely Awakened man.
"What a horrible way to Awaken and being Awakened when not ready is horribly traumatic. I will speak with Master Telar about the man and make sure he gets he care he needs."
Jeffry promised.

"Hum..."
Jeffry said as he read what you had written.
"We knew the Umbrood would not be exactly what he was before he was shattered, this will be a rebirth more than a continuation of his existence, once he was a guardian, a protector but it seams he is turning more into a guide but...I want you to talk with Cita about this mea felius and mention it to no other, there are some hints here that are both wonderous and terrifying, especially if those with more greed and morals hear about it. I will not put it into words, not yet but it might be your Avatar is carrying something beyond precious."
Jeffry said and he had paled a littled as he looked up from the tablet to regard you, his eyes wide.

"Ah yes off course I remember now Master Nasse brewed the potion, forgive me mea filius I am also tired and things slip my mind."
Jeffry said and he took a sip of his coffee.
"I think taking the time to take a showever will be a few minutes well spent mea filius."
He added and smiled.

"Very well, I will go talk to my amicus after I bring her to you," he said, with a nod. He then left to go help Cecelia into the office.

Jeffry just nodded at that.
"Very Well."

You got to the cafeteria, it was filling up with mages talking together in hushed voices. Cecilia looked up, Mundi was resting his head on her knee and she was petting him now that her hands had been placed in cuffs.
"Hello Sir."
She said as you walked over to her.

[Serge] (Helping out at the infirmary in the attic of Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

"Awww man. Bet he has a bunch of fun stories and adventures." Serge mused. "Oh well, I'm surprised you know as much as you do. Never thought the Technocracy would share that much information to one of their worker's children. Hell at one point I didn't think they were allowed to have children..."

"Like with most mages, Technocrats having families and children are rate but it do happen, and it is not illegal. As for what my father told me, well that he was not allowed to do, but some of what I know he told me and my mother and some of it I figured out on my own over the years, and yes I bet he have some stories about his adventures into the void but those he is not sharing."
Eliza said and smiled a little.

"Very well Mr Yager if you think doing so is best I will not stop you, however do remember that if you wake him up you might cause him to completely panic as well, making treating his physical injuries allot harder, but I will leave it up to you."
Allison said as she glanced at the catatonic man.

He turned his head towards the other man, who he recognized from Adley's note. "What about him? Has he said anything or moved at all since he arrived. I think he's the reason I brought the fish." Serge asked Allison.

"No he have not said a word, however if he like the goldfish we can always try to bring them over to him and see if that will spark a reaction."
Allison said.
"It is worth a try...poor man."

[Nicole] (In the old auto shop at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

'Might do. Might not.' Nicole replied airily to Violet's question, giving a significant look back at the doorway of the office, now containing the Mirrorshade.

"Yeah you are right, sorry it is not the right situation to talk about it."
Violet said as she continued searching the drawers.

Shit... not even the densest airhead or timid old lady would accept that.' she quipped on looking at the paperwork. 'If they were gonna scam, a list of non-jobs would be listed, it would. This place could be a laundry.'

"I would not put it past them to run a laundery Miss then again it would hardly be the worst thing a gang of Nephandi have done, even so perhaps some information can be gleaned from the records later."
Violet said and sigh.
"This place is so run down I find it hard to believe any kind of bussiness where operated here though, especially a legetimate one."

A nod of agreement to this; it was best to do things like this methodically, even though her instinct was to simply go through the "most interesting things" like a child opening the biggest Christmas present first...

There was really nothing in the store of interest, a few botlles of motor oil and other such things for cars, the furniture and old till that was quite empty and not much else other than shattered wood and glass from the earlier fight.
"There is not much here Miss."
Viloet commented.
"Moving on to the workshop perhaps?"

[Tane] (Labyrinth Master Dupre's strike team, 3: 30 in the afternoon.)

Interesting, I always thought there we're some universal laws we can't affect. I suppose you are right, but only if we take the másters into account. We have severe limitaciones to anything we can do.

"Not having the skill to do something yet is not the same as it being impossible to do Mr Karyak, however I really do not know enough about your kind nor your capabilities to say, you where the one who said you rewove reality so anything, even cleansing the corrupted mages was possible."
Dino said and frowned.

Don'tworry, It Will simply crumble to nothing, from when It came

"No it will not, this ship is a gigantic spirit, it is not crumbeling it is leaving for the deeper levels of the Umbra, it is healthy if such a thing can say to be such and will live on."
The Werewolf grumbeled.

'Dunno. Think it's all just surface rust; a functional business underneath and all that.' Nicole replied, going through the thrilling items.

After locating a suitable box to shove the gun and papers in, she'll give a nod to Violet to continue into the workshop itself. 'Remember one of the Fallen mentioning a safe or something.' True to habit and experience, she was interested what kit it had; and if any of it was worthwhile taking for herself.

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]
"Perhaps not Sir, then again allot of magi live for a really long time while their sleeper friends and other mages who do not extend their livespans grow old so that would be about the same right?"
Avery said then he nodded.
"Perhaps so...I do not know Sir."
He muttered about having some spark left in him.
Colin nodded, "Not exactly the same... Linear or Awakened Magi who extend their lifespans still age, however slowly - they still grow and change. A Lich is... fixed, frozen. It's as if you watched a movie, and then paused it forever, a single frame that never progresses..."

"Their wards where sloppily made Sir that I agree with, as for the man you shot, it was self defense and defense of another...he tried to blow up your head though are you okey Sir?"
Heather asked seamed concerned.
He smiled, "You saw Dalisse healed me... I had a light concussion and a few burst blood vessels, nothing worse."

He shrugged, "Spirits can still undergo change - I befriended one today who had been greatly harmed by the Fallen. I gave him a new Name, a new Purpose... he's happy now, no longer being forced to hurt people."

"Well you do seam to be quite skilled at looking into the future at least Mr Wainwright, and your foci are beautiful."
Felicia said.
"And I am sure that when you evnetually do make the piece you talk about for your wife she will be very happy with it."
He grinned, "Oh, she will - it'll have a green stone as the centerpiece. A piece of Tass, in fact, that I obtained from an old Diedne..."

"It was no bother Mr Wainwright...hum yes I do know the spell you speak of but that is a complicated topic so it might be best to discuss later yes, you have a book that needs translating?"
Crexia said and she raised an eyebrow.
He smiled smugly, lowering his voice, "I obtained a primary copy, with several subsequent appendices. It's priceless, I should think. I believe my Cabalmate can help me translate the Arabic segments - but I would be glad to let you have a look at it later."

"I do not relish the suffering of others Mr Wainwright I did not torture him, my blades are sharp and I made only enough cuts to bleed him out and feed my tree."
Philippa said frimly as if the thought of torture for the sake of torture offended her sensibilities.
He nodded, "A mercy, then... A lot of people would have been vindictive in your position; I suppose that would have been... less than ideal for your tree, though."

He nodded, "Very well, then; I'll have a word with Master Min about it, too - the addendum should not be much of a complication... I won't call for a further escalated punishment, though - that, I fear, would not be productive. And yes, I know, I will make sure she gets a lot of bedrest... I've already secured her treasures for her, and I'll make sure she gets some books to read, perhaps a card game or two; nothing strenuous."

He smiled, "It may seem like a small thing to you, but to her, it was a literal lifesaver... and when my future wife needs a transfusion, Anna will in turn be able to help her. Everything you do causes ripples; good or ill - you should not underestimate the value of a kindness, however small it may seem to you. Again, thank you."

"I see well let us say thirthy minutes then Mr Wainwright and yes I will see you then."
Philippa said and smiled.
He nodded, "Thirty minutes, then."

Heather gently put her hand on your arm and walked with you up the stairs.
"Yes Sir, I am so looking forward to seeing her again, when I was kidnapped I was worried I never would see her again."
Heather said and looked down as Felicia and Avery gave you a little wave as you left.
He smiled and waved back to the Mercere, and nodded to Heather, "Yes, she was quite distraught, too... I would probably not have had as easy a time finding you without her focusing on her love for you while we were on the phone... It was a powerful connection to piggyback on."

"If I see her I will mention it also."

"Perhaps you knew sir, but I did not. I was not sure really what would happen."He was a bit surprised at his mentor's reaction though - at least he believed him and knew what it could mean. At least possibly. He wrote, 'Not even my amicus? Then again, perhaps it would be best he didn't tell him until all this business of the trial were over anyway, just in case. He sighed. Then he recalled something else, as well - that Colin had the pinecone last and that should probably not be with his person if they incarcerated him in case they decided to root through his personal effects. Damn.

"I suppose I should go down and ask him then. Ah and the Master alchemist is making dinner, can't fall asleep before that."

You got to the cafeteria, it was filling up with mages talking together in hushed voices. Cecilia looked up, Mundi was resting his head on her knee and she was petting him now that her hands had been placed in cuffs.
"Hello Sir."

He glanced around at everyone, trying to place them as he made his way through the room and over to Cecelia. Seeing Mundi begging for pets he felt a tug of a smile and then said to Cecelia, "If you don't mind, the Cheif would like a word with you. And then I shall talk to you soon after. Will you please come with me?" he asked, offering her a hand up and Mundi a friendly pat. "Thank you, friend," he said in Enochian.

Serge nodded, smiling as Eliza did. He glanced at the many patients who weren't smiling and knew he couldn't stay and talk with Eliza forever, as much as he wanted to. "It's been nice talking to you but I have some other patients I want to help. Will you be all right resting here? I'll be nearby if you need anything."

"Very well Mr Yager if you think doing so is best I will not stop you, however do remember that if you wake him up you might cause him to completely panic as well, making treating his physical injuries allot harder, but I will leave it up to you."
Allison said as she glanced at the catatonic man.

"People panicking has been almost common place here. Still your right, we wanna try and avoid that..." Serge commented as indecision struck him. Allison made a good point but he just couldn't help but feel empathetic for the catatonic man. After all he knew very well how isolating yourself in your own mind felt like.

"No he have not said a word, however if he like the goldfish we can always try to bring them over to him and see if that will spark a reaction."
Allison said.
"It is worth a try...poor man."

"Let's do that first. He mentioned some sort of fish before passing out. They must mean something to him." Serge said agreeing with Allison. "From what I've heard about this guy, he's going to be freaking out from the moment he wakes up. The sooner we can ease his pain the better."

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

Colin nodded, "Not exactly the same... Linear or Awakened Magi who extend their lifespans still age, however slowly - they still grow and change. A Lich is... fixed, frozen. It's as if you watched a movie, and then paused it forever, a single frame that never progresses..."

"I guess I understand that Sir, a lich never change at all, they are completely static."
Avery said and nodded.

He smiled, "You saw Dalisse healed me... I had a light concussion and a few burst blood vessels, nothing worse."

Heather nodded at that.
"That is good Sir."
She said sounding relieved.

He shrugged, "Spirits can still undergo change - I befriended one today who had been greatly harmed by the Fallen. I gave him a new Name, a new Purpose... he's happy now, no longer being forced to hurt people."

"How can someone who have no concept of time change Sir, are not time and change the same thing?"
Avery asked sounding confused.
"It is good that you helped that spirit though that was kind of you."

He grinned, "Oh, she will - it'll have a green stone as the centerpiece. A piece of Tass, in fact, that I obtained from an old Diedne..."

"An old Diedne now that is rare unless you speak about their decendants Mr Wainwright."
Felicia said and raised an eyebrow.

He smiled smugly, lowering his voice, "I obtained a primary copy, with several subsequent appendices. It's priceless, I should think. I believe my Cabalmate can help me translate the Arabic segments - but I would be glad to let you have a look at it later."

"I would like that Mr Wainwright both having a look at the book and hear where you got it from if you are willing to share that is."
Crexia whispered as she regarded you.
"That is quite a valuable find."

He nodded, "A mercy, then... A lot of people would have been vindictive in your position; I suppose that would have been... less than ideal for your tree, though."

"Indeed the Resonance of my tree would have been tainted by such an action, the man hurt my family I was justified taking my revenge and kill him, causing pain just for the sake of causing pain though only taints the torturer, sometimes pain is needed and have a purpose but when it do not it should be avoided."
Philippa said firmly.

"I agree Mr Wainwright there is no point to ask for further punishment but it should be made very clear that what Nurse Bosh did, cause serious harm to the child."
The old Verbena said and nodded.
"That sounds good, I think Mr Horton have more information about how your apprentice should be tended to better her health."
She adviced.

"Well I was talked into joining this Traditions thing so we have to stick together right, and besides she is just a kid, I am glad I could help out."
Rebecca said and smiled.

He nodded, "Thirty minutes, then."

"I will have the tea ready."
Philippa said and nodded.

He smiled and waved back to the Mercere, and nodded to Heather, "Yes, she was quite distraught, too... I would probably not have had as easy a time finding you without her focusing on her love for you while we were on the phone... It was a powerful connection to piggyback on."

"Me and my Mistress love one another very much Sir and we are good together and we are very happy."
Heather said and she smiled warmly.
"Hum one of the sitting rooms, try up on the third floor then Sir?"

[Adley] (Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

"If I see her I will mention it also."

"Good that would be wise."
Your Mentor said and nodded.

Damn.

"Apologies mea filius I should have explained it better that the Umbrood would be reborn and not recreated."
Jeffry said then he considered.
"You may tell Mr Wainwright but let me put it this way, if what I suspect is true, there will be allot of magi who would desire your Avatar for the power it houses, do not tell anyone you can not trust with more than your life."
The old Hermetic said and his expression was halfway between wonder and worry.
"But let us see what Master Telar say about it first, but we need to take precautions with this mea filius."
He warned.

"I suppose I should go down and ask him then. Ah and the Master alchemist is making dinner, can't fall asleep before that."

"Yes you should speak with Master Nassa about it, he is a healer to so he might be able to advice you."
Jeffry said then he grinned.
"Wonderful, Master Haagen is a exellent cook you do not want to miss the meal he prepares."

Henrietta was there talking with Bianca, Francis and Theodora was still there, you heard Darrian rumage around in the kitchen. Ty where having a cup of coffee and you also saw a few members from Riverside there waiting for their friends to pick them up. Cecilia nodded, she gave Mundi a final pat and let you help her up.
"Iff course Sir please lead the way."
She said. Mundi wagged his tail happily at you then he went in search of more petting, eying his options around the room and deciding on Bianca and heading over to her and nusseling her leg and it worked, the Verbena hedge wizard started petting the large dog smiling down to him.

[Serge] (Helping out at the infirmary in the attic of Steelhaven at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

Serge nodded smiling as Eliza did. He glanced at the many patients who weren't smiling and knew he couldn't stay and talk with Eliza forever, as much as he wanted to. "It's been nice talking to you but I have some other patients I want to help. Will you be all right resting here?"

"I will be fine Mr Yager, I think I will try to get some sleep, thank you for your help."
Eliza said and smiled to you and she patten your hand with her own for a moment.
"Go on go help the ones who need it more right now."

"People panicking has been almost common place here. Still your right, we wanna try and avoid that..." Serge commented as indecision struck him. Allison made a good point but he just couldn't help but feel empathetic for the catatonic man. After all he knew very well how isolating yourself in your own mind felt like.

"It is hard to know the best cause of action Mr Yager, you have to try to determine what will be best for him."
Allison said softly.

"Let's do that first. He mentioned some sort of fish before passing out. They must mean something to him." Serge said agreeing with Allison. "From what I've heard about this guy, he's going to be freaking out from the moment he wakes up. The sooner we can ease his pain the better."

"Perhaps he is fond of animals."
Allison said.
"Yes he have been...treated horribly. Let us just move the fish, could you carry the bowl over to his bedside and see what happens."
The hedge wizard asked.

As you where talking with Allison you saw several magi with lesser wounds coming up to the infirmary lead by Ingmar Rush one of them where Ryan, he was limping badly but seamed to be otherwise fine even if he was covered in grime. Your uncle waved to you but then he paled when he saw Ange and limped over to her.
"What...what happened?"
He asked in a shaking voice.
"Ange...is...is she going to be ok?"

[Nicole] (In the old auto shop at 3:30 in the afternoon.)

'Dunno. Think it's all just surface rust; a functional business underneath and all that.' Nicole replied, going through the thrilling items.

"You may be right Miss, clearly they did something here though I thought it was just a front for the portal they guarded."
Violet said and frowned.

After locating a suitable box to shove the gun and papers in, she'll give a nod to Violet to continue into the workshop itself. 'Remember one of the Fallen mentioning a safe or something.' True to habit and experience, she was interested what kit it had; and if any of it was worthwhile taking for herself.

Most of the tools where old and worn, there where a new metal saw there which where valuable and a portable or rather luggable work bench that was also rather new, with the rest you had better equipment yourself, as you went through the room you found a save hid behind and under said workbench though, a old, iron safe. You notice Violet having found herself a knife that she was examining, Verbena did like their sharp and pointy things.
"Did you find anything of value Miss?"
Violet asked.

[Tane] (Labyrinth Master Dupre's strike team, 3: 30 in the afternoon.)

Being able to do something and doing that on a daily basis are 2 different things

"Not really it matters little if changing the laws of nature can be done every day or if it is costly and can not be done regularly, it is still an affront to Gaia and her laws."
Dino grumbeled.

I think we have some idea of how to deal with it. In any case, it will be so deep that only concepts will remain to inhabit it and it will turn into one such concept. In any case, it can't reach our world no longer.

"No that is not how it works Tane, it can come back if it desire to, yes it will be going where there are not really any concepts anymore, but this spirit have a reality, it is more than a concept and it will keep itself, there are spirits living in the Deep Umbra going there will not dissolve it, and if those living on this ship knows how to live in the Deep Umbra as well they to will survive out there, it is leaving now but it can come back."
Dino said and frowned again.

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]
"I guess I understand that Sir, a lich never change at all, they are completely static."
Avery said and nodded.
Colin nodded, "It takes immense effort for one to learn new things, and avoid mental stagnation..."

"How can someone who have no concept of time change Sir, are not time and change the same thing?"
Avery asked sounding confused.
"It is good that you helped that spirit though that was kind of you."
He shook his head, "Time is merely a lens through which we observe change - it's... a little more complicated than that, but suffice to say, time is not a straight progression from cause to effect. Every event touches on other events seemingly separated by space or time - like how the thread crosses its own path in a ball of yarn."

"An old Diedne now that is rare unless you speak about their decendants Mr Wainwright."
Felicia said and raised an eyebrow.
He grinned, "No, I meant precisely what I said - a lovely lady, born well before the Schism war, and one who has remained in hiding since... Owing to circumstances, she cannot return to us, unfortunately, but if we're lucky, that might change. I know how to reach her again, in any case."

"I would like that Mr Wainwright both having a look at the book and hear where you got it from if you are willing to share that is."
Crexia whispered as she regarded you.
"That is quite a valuable find."
He winked, "Not in public. It's an almost unbelievable story anyway. But are you familiar with the name Dalisse Hermes ex Diedne?"

He nodded, "There's a particular torture-happy Quaesitor I wish you could make understand that... well, I guess there's no help for that..."

He nodded, "And we have a quite skilled physician in my Cabal, an Akashic who knows a few tricks beyond school medicine... I'll make sure he gets those recommendations as well."

"Me and my Mistress love one another very much Sir and we are good together and we are very happy."
Heather said and she smiled warmly.
"Hum one of the sitting rooms, try up on the third floor then Sir?"
He nodded, "Like I said, a powerful connection. Hum, third floor it is."
He fished out his phone and sent a message to Harmony, 'I should have let you know sooner... we're coming up the stairs now.'

[Colin] (Morningstar 4:30 in the afternoon)

Colin nodded, "It takes immense effort for one to learn new things, and avoid mental stagnation..."

"Yes that sounds like it would suck quite a bit, learing new things are important."
Avery said and nodded.
"Though it can be hard to stay motivated to do so at times."

He shook his head, "Time is merely a lens through which we observe change - it's... a little more complicated than that, but suffice to say, time is not a straight progression from cause to effect. Every event touches on other events seemingly separated by space or time - like how the thread crosses its own path in a ball of yarn."

Avery gave you a confused look and shook his head.
"I do not really understand Sir I am sorry."
The young Mercere muttered.

He grinned, "No, I meant precisely what I said - a lovely lady, born well before the Schism war, and one who has remained in hiding since... Owing to circumstances, she cannot return to us, unfortunately, but if we're lucky, that might change. I know how to reach her again, in any case."

"Intersting, not many Diedne survived...Lady Philippa's Mentor is one but I will make the guess it is not her...I hope I get the chance to meet this mystery lady eventually."
Crexia said.

He winked, "Not in public. It's an almost unbelievable story anyway. But are you familiar with the name Dalisse Hermes ex Diedne?"

"Yes thismight indeed not be a good idea to discuss in public...I know the name Dalisse ex Diedne, no Hermes then we had no need to inform about our Tradition back before the Traditions where formed...Dalisse where sentenced as a infernalist and cast out of the Order well before the law...some say Guernicus the Founder experimented on her...and you have found her? She is still alive?"
Crexia said raising an eyebrow.
"No not here...my office later."
She said stopping her own questions.

He nodded, "There's a particular torture-happy Quaesitor I wish you could make understand that... well, I guess there's no help for that..."

"Often no, there is little help for that other than taking such a person down if at all possible."
Philippa said and frowned.

He nodded, "And we have a quite skilled physician in my Cabal, an Akashic who knows a few tricks beyond school medicine... I'll make sure he gets those recommendations as well."

"Dr Lee right? He was with the group from Boston that visited us yesterday yes?"
The old Verbena asked.
"Yes he should be informed about Anna's condition."

He nodded, "Like I said, a powerful connection. Hum, third floor it is."
He fished out his phone and sent a message to Harmony, 'I should have let you know sooner... we're coming up the stairs now.'

You got a message back from Harmony.
"Understandable I will be right out."
As you got up to the third floor Harmony came out of one of the sitting rooms and she ran over to Heather and hugged her, then kissed her and hugged her again.
"My love, my own are you harmed."
Heather hugged her wife back.
"No Mistress I am ok, they did not injure me it was just scary."
Harmony nodded.
"Thank heavens, and off course it was scary but you are safe now, safe with me."
She said and kissed Heather lovingly again then she looked at you.
"Thank you...thank you so much for saving her Mr Wainwright, I love her so much...thank you!"
The Cultist said with ernest gratitude in her voice.
"Thank you so much."

(OOC: Hufsa is standing on a wall normally now but she is still in her transport box, I bought her a nice cave but no plastic box it is.)

[Morningstar, 4:30 PM]
"Yes that sounds like it would suck quite a bit, learing new things are important."
Avery said and nodded.
"Though it can be hard to stay motivated to do so at times."
Colin smiled, "Yes, motivation can be hard to maintain. All the same, learning is not so much an action as a state of mind; studying is often hard to motivate oneself for, but you are always observing things and learning, even if it doesn't quite register consciously."

"Intersting, not many Diedne survived...Lady Philippa's Mentor is one but I will make the guess it is not her...I hope I get the chance to meet this mystery lady eventually."
Crexia said.
He nodded, "I... ah, that would be difficult and dangerous, but not impossible..."

He nodded, "Not an Infernalist, not Fallen, just a worshipper of Lilith who ran afoul some rather Jewish interpretations of scripture... Later, yes, I will swing by before I leave with Anna."

"Often no, there is little help for that other than taking such a person down if at all possible."
Philippa said and frowned.
He arched an eyebrow, voice very carefully neutral, "Yes, well, that would be rather a dangerous gambit when a Senior Quaesitor is involved. I do believe there are a number of laws regarding such matters..."

"Dr Lee right? He was with the group from Boston that visited us yesterday yes?"
The old Verbena asked.
"Yes he should be informed about Anna's condition."
He nodded, then grinned, "Poor Dr. Lee, I'm afraid Anna and I will give him a series of ulcers - me with temporal shenanigans, and her with her relationship with his little sister... Ah, that'll come in its own time, of course."
He paused for a moment, "By the way, you've met my Cabalmate Adley, and I presume you might have met my Security Chief, Jeffry Morgan Hermes bani Flambeau, at some point... I don't suppose you have any recommendations for restoring hair colour? I... may have caused some early greying..."

He smiled and got out of the way of the reunion, and waited until addressed, "You are quite welcome, Mrs. Piti - and please, call me Colin. Before I... request a reward, I would like to introduce the two of you to Anna as her clever aunties, if that's quite acceptable to you?"

((OOC: Aww, perhaps she's just a little spooked by that big, dark cave? Razz ))

Anja's Post:

Nicole ran a professional eye over the kit; you could never have too many workbenches, and that saw was a fair bit better than the relic she had. But simply made a mental note of it; hopefully there would be enough time later to remove them...

'If you like, make sure you get it cleaned up before use, yeah?' she commented on seeing Violet with the blade. 'Hmm... you know anything about safecracking?' squatting down to get a better view of the safe.
