He nodded to Serge, voice completely devoid of usual chipper tone, "Over here... there's a prisoner who's badly broken... can you help calm him? All he wants is his mommy and daddy..."

The cultist was a little off put by his cabal leaders chipper-less tone until he heard the nature of the prisoners trauma. "...Oh...oh no..." he said softly, glancing at the prisoner. "Y-yeah. I'll see what I can do." he said, slowly approaching the prisoner.

Inside of the make shift cell was a tall, thin man bound to a heavy shelf, he had a bandage over his eyes and he was very pale and clammy, his red hair lay damp against his skin. The man was rocking back and forth muttering softly in both the Nephandi language and in English, at times crying or calling for his parents. The man seamed completely confused and child like.

Serge slowly approached the prisoner, kneeling down on the floor to ensure he was at eye level with the prisoner. "Hey there buddy. Its gonna be all right. Dont worry." he said softly, wanting to engage with the prisoner to see the extent of his trauma.

"Yes it should be safe enough to wear but I would not wear it against the skin for days on end."
Nico said.
"I believe I have glass discs like that ready for engraving and I can also give it a top coat to prevent any lead getting into skin contact with anyone."
Nico replied.

"I may need them to wear it for some while consecutively though I can't say how long for sure so that may be wise."

"I can just delete it once I am done with it."
The Verditius said they fished out their phone and snapped a picture of the notes.

He nodded.

You found Crexia waiting for you on the landing to the second floor, the lich held a large book in her arms.
"Sodalis."
She said politely though the air of majesty she had about it made it very clear it was the politeness a queen would show towards a favorite courtier rather than towards an equal.

He had his stack of books with him as well and his notes. "Ma'am, thank you. Let me escort you to our sodalis rooms, I would like your expert advice on an idea, but time is as always of the essence..."

The Nephandus looked terrified and he pulled away from you nervously.

The prisoner cried pitifully.

After a short moment the Alchemist opened his door. You could smell chemicals and coffee from inside of the apartment.
"Mr Roth Hicks, Lady Crexia please come in."
He said while making a gesture indicating you should do so. Crexia gave a sharp nod and said.
"Good evening Master Haagen and thank you."
Then she walked into the Alchemist's abode.

"I heard about what happened in the Boston Umbra Port, there was allot of rumors flooding the Void Engineers about it, but if I do not remember it wrong it was one guy who revealing himself to be Fallen and he was summary executed."

Colin smiled wryly, "No, one secretary would not suffice. But a few secretaries working together to slip an extra page of something in their boss' pile of documents to be signed could do a lot... as an example. But, I'm not saying it was certainly the Fallen who came up with the serum, nor am I saying the Union was the certain originator - I'm just saying I've seen enough oddities come up recently to cast the invention in a more conspicuous light."
He frowned, "As for the Umbra Port, no, there were more than one... Far more than one. The Union was not the only side infiltrated, either... I was there; it wasn't a matter of one guy revealing himself - an Aswadim entered Boston's shadow, and every single Fallen in the city, whether having been through the Caul in this life or a previous one, fell to their knees and sang his praises. It was... disturbing. And indicative of how much power an Oracle wields, regardless of whose side they're on, when their mere presence triggers such a widespread response... The Union would have suppressed the true numbers for morale purposes. And your side would have been more merciful than my side was. There were a number of... Genius deactivations after that incident, I'll wager..."

"Yes something like that would have some classification, I am not sure which but you would need some rank to access it but it is not like you would have to be a Research Director or anything."
Thomas replied.
"That much suck if she ever needed Cybernetics for something like if she lost a limp or something. Anyway I do not sure how classified these tissues would be and it is quite a leap to go from a Fallen Technocrat got his hands on that to the Fallen gave the serum to the Union."

He nodded, "It is a bit of a leap, so long as you assume I only have the one reason to suspect it. But... it's one hell of a mosaic that is beginning to reveal a disturbing picture. A million bits and pieces, and I've found a few hundred that fit together..."

The prisoner replied clearly not buying it.

He nodded, "I don't, now. But I was in any case not trying to convince you of it as fact, merely airing a speculation to you."

((OOC: Man, work yesterday was laborious - crapton of sudden "urgent" jobs, while I was stuck manually perforating some 2400 tickets for a series of concerts, because the fucking machine that's supposed to do it is unable to draw in one sheet of paper at a time, shredding a dozen or two tickets in one go instead... And then was the psychic fair afterwards. Here he wrote down on his tablet" 'WJ needs a housing for his ghost, a body and an avatar to reclaim his former state. He has made at least two clones that we are aware of and that we have secured with us. These are ideas for extra protections for them against ghost possession, or any other type of tampering, based on ancient spells dealing with golem. I have asked the Verdutius to proceed with preparing the proper seal kamea, which we hope would last perhaps a month and give us enough time to deal with the problem at hand - best timing window should begin in about ten minutes.'

"Before I can comment much I would need to know more details on the working you plan to do Sodalis, but some form of protection for the two clones would be wise."

The Verditius has the materials needed and I have some tass that can be used. I can help her imbue the seals, though adding a direct mental protection aspect is out of my reach.'

Crexia accepted your notes and read them and then the tablet and read what you had written before passing them to Darrian.

"How will you tie each working to the individual it is for Mr Roth Hicks?"
He asked.
"The way I understand it you want to safeguard the two clone's mind and body to make them inhospitable vessels for anyone else, using Cabbalistic symbolism and astrological seals for the working itself? Also I will provide the Tass needed to protect Cava, she is my apprentice it is my duty to provide for her needs."

However, one can use energy and spirit, yet it seemed to make sense to have a physical thing made as it is a working on this plane.'

"I am thinking both can be useful, doing the spell directly on the targets will aid in making sure that is young Cava and Mr Griffith is taken captive then they can not just have their protections taken away from them, and so a protection not tied to a material item should be done, however a man like Wallace Jace is more likely to strike from afar so the added protection of the seal itself could be useful."

He nodded in an understanding way. 'I believe her apprentice Name could work, in that you gave it to her and it has nothing to do with him at all and has gained attachment to her. If you would like to participate, though, you could apply her Name without disclosing it to us, perhaps when it comes to the part to imbue with quintessence?'

What's her job?" he asked, pencil and notepad at the ready.

He cried.
"O...ok my mom drive a forklift at a big storage building moving boxes around, she is named Sarah."
The prisoner managed between sobs.

If you would like to participate, though, you could apply her Name without disclosing it to us, perhaps when it comes to the part to imbue with quintessence?'

"Cava's apprentice name was given to her by Lux Iternis before she was sold to Steelhaven so I did nto give it to her but it is the name she identify with."

"Yes let me work on my own preparations while you speak with the prisoner and work out the rest with Lady Crexia."

"Hum...perhaps I should speak with the Verditius...Adeptus Markov is it not? I can see if I can help with their preparations?"
Crexia asked. You seamed to have about ten minutes before the planetary hour changed and then a little less than an hour to do the working after that."

Colin shrugged, "One bad apple spoils the bunch..."

"Wow...ok...that is rather...you met an Oracle, a Fallen Oracle? That must have been absolutely terrifying."
The young Void Engineer asked.
"How did that happen Mr Wainwright?"

He smiled wryly, "It's something of a long and highly improbable story, but the short version is that I infiltrated a downed Nephandi battlecruiser and managed to convince the ship to play along with our side as our strike teams entered to stop the Nephanda trying to bind said Aswadim and force him to prematurely end the world. We succeeded, and he was quite grateful to not have been forced to act by such impudent means. So he swung by to express his gratitude before he left this plane of existence."

"Thank you. I would like to read that."
Thomas said with a nod.
"Even if having such materials would probably be illegal for me, the Union do not like unauthorized spread of information."

He nodded, "You're a clever kid, though - you might find a way to push such documentation upwards in a manner that won't necessarily put their attention on you."

Serge nodded, not wanting to respond in case the nephandus heard him. "Your mom should be here soon now." he said, sitting down next to the nephandus. "Why don't you tell me a little bit about your mom while we wait? Talking about her could keep your mind off things and I'll be able to tell you when she's arrived. What does she look like? What's her job?" he asked, pencil and notepad at the ready.

"Why can't I see? Why can't I move my hands?"
The Nephandus bawled.
"Where am I? I want to go home."
He cried.
"O...ok my mom drive a forklift at a big storage building moving boxes around, she is named Sarah."
The prisoner managed between sobs.

He watched, face no longer betraying any emotion as Serge worked, waiting to see if the poor man would calm down and perhaps fall asleep or something... hopefully to get some peace.

((OOC: Yeah, we're not switching to <epithet> DST for another two weeks in Norway. I rather figure it proves time is a delusion, more than an illusion, though. ))

He cried.
"O...ok my mom drive a forklift at a big storage building moving boxes around, she is named Sarah."
The prisoner managed between sobs.

"That's exciting. Has she ever taken you to where she works? Has she ever taken you for a ride on the forklift?" he said calmly, trying to get the man to focus on memory's of his mother as he drew his picture. The more he thought about his family and more pleasant times, the less he would focus on the situation around him and the easier it would be for him to manipulate those memories. A daydream that would shift into a real dream at his command.

The picture he drew was a picture of a forklift, with a younger version of the traumatized nephandi on it. Sitting on the lap of an adult who's face was offscreen of the picture. Although the young Nephandi looked up lovingly at offscreen adult, making clear that whoever it was was very close to him.

As he finished his drawing, he focused his will through it and into the Nephanus's mind, lulling it to sleep while pulling forth pleasant memories of his mother to accompany him as he drifted it off. "Your mom will be here soon..." he said as he breathed life into the spell.

(OOC: Mind 3 + Entropy 2 effect to put the Nephandus into a peaceful sleep and have him dream about his childhood days with his mom. Particularly watching her work or joining her on the forklift.

"What are a Nephandi Battle Cruiser like...how could you convince it to work for you?"

"Yes I might indeed if I think the information is worth doing so, which I will only know once I have read it."

"My parents are really nice other when they let the bad doctor hurt me...but I want my mommy and daddy I want to go home."

The traumatized Nephandus relaxed and fell alseep, he breathed evenly and slumped over in his bonds slightly smiling so there was a good chance you had gotten the right dream implanted in his mind, at least giving him some peace.

"That sounds like a plan." After he checked the time, he told them what time they had left also. "If you will excuse me then," he said with a nod. He headed out to speak with Mr Griffith
