"Our target's room where on the third floor right?"
She asked as she checked the dossier.
"Yeah seam so."

"I have an app that I can use to check that, here, let me find it...sounds weird saying that, but I forgot...it was given to me before. I hope it still will work," he said, trying to find Jon's app. Much like Jon himself, things that Jon did or gave to him also shunted to the side of his memory. "We should check the building for wards too..."

Once inside it got quite peopley, there where kids of collage age everywhere and they where spreaking several different languages, it was clear that these dorms was popular among over seas students. No one made a move to stop you though but you noticed a woman, she had short, dyed red hair and was wearings jeans and a pink tshirt with a Stormtrooper on it, she woman eyed your group and at her shoulder she had a little spirit bird, it was quite beautiful, looking like it was made of fine crystal glass, the girl spoke to the bird and it took of clearly intending on following your group, whoever the girl was she could see and speak with spirits. Cita had noticed her to and she glanced at the girl and then at the bird.

Adley casually swiped the door handle with his sleeve as he went in, as if he were just grabbing it with his hands in his sleeves because he was cold, and then seeing how crowded it was made sure to maneuver himself kind of in the middle of the group. Not only in case they were jumped, but also so no one would accidentally run into his shield and be surprised by it; he hadn't really expected this many people. The woman in the Stormtrooper shirt caught his attention, and he plastered a look of slight confusion on his face. She would be talking to nothing, if he didn't see spirits, so that's what he tried to make it look like, that he'd seen her give them a once over and then talk to empty space, at least for now. He hoped that if push came to shove she was as good at shooting things as the emblem on her shirt.

"It seams we need to speak with her before moving on, let us hope she is one of ours."
The Spirit healer commented.

"Seems so, let's go say hello..."

// It's 3 hour difference I just wasn't sure what time it was when they left : ) so it's 5pm
// there are a few spots where the maps wouldn't line up with the program I used/the way the maps were drawn for stairs. So I did my best given limitations

"I can check for wards while you find the app?"
Marian offered. You found the app after some searching it was not always easy to find Jon's things. From what you could see there was a whole bunch of people in the building and some spirits, a few of the people where marked as a little bit extra, probably students with a bit of psychic ability or lesser hedge wizards, there where also two mages in there.
"There are wards on two of the rooms."
Marian said he was looking at the building through a very old bit of stained glass.
"As far as I can tell at least."

"Seems so, let's go say hello..."

"Keep your eyes open for trouble."
Cita said as she approached the young woman in the Stormtrooper shirt and whispered to her.
"You are Awakened?"
The girl's eyes widened a little and she nodded.
"So what are your opinions of Unions?"
Cita asked and the girl sigh.
"I am more Traditional myself but that is not the most popular in this town, what about you?"
The collage student replied.
"We might be of the same mind on this...are there somewhere we can talk that is not right in the hallway?"
The spirit healer asked.
"Yeah I guess...my room...my roomate is out, though bringing strangers..."
She said seaming hesitant.

[Infirmary]

"I hope so." he said with a nod. "Anyways, I shouldn't disturb you anymore. Next stop for me is the third floor, directly below here. If my eyeballed measurements are right, that should mean its in the middle of the hallway." he said pulling out the chantry blueprints. "I'll see you later guys." he said with a wave of farewell to the two infimary workers before heading down to the third floor.

"Yeah I probably should get back to work."
Richard said.
"Let me know if you need any more help and good luck Serge."
He said as you left. Rosa smiled from where she was sitting at Beatrice's bedside and she gave you a wave of her hand.

[Third Floor]

When Serge got to the third floor, he made his way to its center point directly underneath his previous two drawings, hoping to himself that he hadn't gotten his estimation wrong.

You got down to the third floor. You saw Arn heading into his room but other than that no one was out in the hallway right now. You could easily access the point you had to draw on for your working.

(OOC: Strife's map is probably more accurate than mine as I am terrible with space I even have a problem with left and right.)

"Very well do you want to call Mr Wainwright for the number Miss Bouchard or should I?"
Darrian asked.

'I'm gonna go with the answer "no". Can you like "pre-load" it?'

"I have done the prep work I can Miss Bouchard I still have to write a few words to activate the spell."
Antonio said.
"So thirty seconds or so to get the shields up."

'Oh, I got an app which shows up different life-forms. Used it earlier on the vamp-nabbing mission.' Nicole replied, clambering into the driver's seat. 'Whoever's behind me... sorry.' clearly commenting on the lack of leg-room.

No one answered affirmative that they had Jon's app though Nicole might still have it on her phone.
"Yeah no problem I am behind you I will fit."
Fran said.
"I think we should be ready to go then Scientist."
Axel commented.

"I can check for wards while you find the app?"
Marian offered

"Thank you," he agreed. After a moment of searching, he found it right where he swear he'd already looked twice. Damn arcane..."Some semi-awakened and two magii." One presumably was their target, the other...a mystery.

"There are wards on two of the rooms."
Marian said he was looking at the building through a very old bit of stained glass.

One thing he learned was that Cita was straight to the point. He watched the woman's reaction to see if she were trying to pull a fast one or bolt, thinking they were an enemy. Having a spirit with her seemed to lend credence she was not Union, or at least not like most Conventions but was no way a guarantee. He understood her reticence about bringing in strangers, but it wasn't a good idea to stand out in the open like this either. He gave a short glance at her spirit friend and raised an eyebrow. "It is quite busy out here; do you happen to have a game room or similar that may be unoccupied?" he suggested.

"Thank you," he agreed. After a moment of searching, he found it right where he swear he'd already looked twice. Damn arcane..."Some semi-awakened and two magii." One presumably was their target, the other...a mystery.

"Two Awakened I wonder who they are, one of them are our target I guess."
Marian replied.
"As for the semi Awakened well that is not rare, but we should still be aware and alert they could be a member of some faction or another and that faction might not be friendly towards us."

"That fits," he said, two magii, two wards. "Is one of them on third?"

"Yeah one of them are on the third floor, that room there."
The death magus said and he pointed towards a window on the third floor.

[Dorm - Seattle U]

"I will," he agreed.

Cita nodded at that.

One thing he learned was that Cita was straight to the point. He watched the woman's reaction to see if she were trying to pull a fast one or bolt, thinking they were an enemy.

The girl in the stormtrooper shirt looked a bit nervous, which was natural with strangers surprising her like that but there was no sign she was lying, which off course did not mean that she was not.

The little gaffling watched back, it was a small, transparent, amber and purple glass bird, as the ones it had been told to watch was right there talking, it took the time to preen where it sat on a nearby table.

"It is quite busy out here; do you happen to have a game room or similar that may be unoccupied?" he suggested.

"Yeah...we do actually and it might be free right now...this way."
The woman said she gave Cita and the rest of your group a nervous look before she turned and led the way down a corridor. You came to a room dominated by a large, but old and rickety table, there was a bowl with some left over snacks in the middle of it. There was a shelf full of games and the table could be made into a ping pong table with some attachments. At one end of the room there was a TV, a sofa and some chairs for those who wanted to play video games. The room smelled of beer, pizza and sweat. No one was there right now though.
"Ehm Ametrine go get my Mentor if something happens to me!"
The girl ordered the little glass bird who fluttered away to where she could watch from a safe distance.
"So who are you guys?"
The young woman said as she glanced around at the members of your party.
"You say you are from the Traditions but I have never seen you in this Tribunal before."

[Garage]

'I meant risk not trying to tell them... I mean, do wolves carry cells?' giving a little chuckle when she had a mental image of a wolf with a vibrating backpack on.

"The guy is a pediatric heart specialist so I would assume that he indeed own a phone."
Darrian said and he raised an eyebrow.
"He works at the university hospital."

Nicole was silent to this, though her rather anxious and pained look might be spotted.

"I am sure we will get though this without getting ripped to bits Miss Bouchard."
Antonio said.
"And if not then we will die a good death."
Fran chimed in.
"I beg to differ young lady being ripped limb from limb is not my idea of a good death."
Axel muttered which made the Euthanathos chuckle.

Now, everybody been to the bathroom? Not gonna make any pit stops on route.' she quipped, checking her phone to see if the app was still on it.

"Watch it or I will ask you are we there yet every five seconds Nick."
Fran joked. It seamed that you still had Jon's app though you had to search a bit for it, the thing had a habit of just getting lost, just like it's creator.

Anja wrote:"See we have a good source of revenue for our Chantry here."
Freddy joked.
Colin smirked, "Well, a one-time thing, at least. Perhaps twice, if her brother decides to defend the family honour, too..."

Anja wrote:"Really it means divination by the dead...so...it is like cartomancy oh...yeah that makes sense, well that would be a more boring duel than what I imagined with this big battle between scores of zombies and walking skeletons."
The Virtual Adept said with a grin.
"For that would be something to see."
He nodded, "The -mancy suffix pertaining to the divinatory nature of it. I suppose raising the dead for cheap labour and the like would more accurately be thanaturgy. Well, unless I've got the roots entirely confused, of course. But I don't think I have."

Anja wrote:"Hum...yes that is a danger that a vampire friend would decide to ehm...save a wounded mage friend, but surely they can be explained about that?"
Freddy said with a shudder.
"I know many mages have vampire friends. Deacon Sharaya for example are friends with one of them, and Mrs Knox is even married to one so it can be done."
He nodded, "Explained, or at least have the quite painful consequences of doing so explained. It seems Miss Giovanni's Mentor was quite explicit about what he would do to her adoptive father if she was ever... brought into the Clan, after all. And I'm not precisely opposed to having vampire friends, as such, either - whether the Toreador recuperating in my workshop, or the Kiasyd I've had dealings with. But someone like Andreas Giovanni the Older is... well, dangerous to get too close to - I'd not be worried about him trying something underhanded, so much as being concerned that one of his rivals or enemies might decide to use me as a tool to get to him. Which from what I know of vampire society would be a highly plausible scenario. In any case, would you be a dear and report in that we were followed for a bit? Just give Master Sharaya a summary of the exchange; I'm sure he'd appreciate a little more information to collate."

((OOC: Regarding Chantry maps, there's also the rough isometric layout I made... Where'd that go, again, though?))

Pulling said pencil out of his pocket, he brandished it and began to draw on the wall. A picture no bigger than his outstretched hand.

"Comics, cartoons. How about a movie to spice thing up." he mused as he drew. This time he drew a picture of the greatest pirate of all time. Captain Jack Sparrow. Wit, guile, and a sharp tongue were strongest among his repertoire. A man who was much more dangerous than he looked (or some might claim). Serge had always admired the charisma of the famous pirate and he fit quite well with the theme he was establishing.

That of tricksters and false appearances and chaotic mischief.

After he was done with that picture he ventured down to the same point, except on the second floor.

Freddy commented dryly.
"But yes if one get involved with a creature, any kind of creature, including a mage with allot of enemies you risk their enemies trying to get your friends through you."
She said as she pulled out her phone and started typing.
"I am sending Master Sharaya a message now to let him know we where tailed."
She said as Westchapel came up in front of you the ugly old factory laying there like a huge, discarded, yellow lego brick in the distance.

He nodded, trying to figure out how far along the hall it probably was to the stairways.

The young woman gave you a nervous look but she still showed the way to the game room.

He took a look around the room and then put himself where he could keep an eye on the exit/entries and window, and protect his group in case something went wrong. He watched as the bird spirit took a spot away from them and then looked back to the young woman.

There was two windows but only one door into the room. You found a good spot. The young woman looked rather nervously at your group clearly not knowing what the Boston mages wanted.

"Perhaps we are best described as unexpected guests, but we did not come to visit you, miss, nor cause you trouble. Though trouble is something we are trying to avoid by coming here. As you've no doubt noticed my voice has a tendency to carry some way so forgive my obliqueness." He looked questioningly at Cita a moment, then back to his watchful alertness.

"Are you a Hermetic? Or a Chorister with the voice thing?"
The young woman asked you.
"So what do you all want?"
She asked.
"Our business are with the Union Miss, not with you."
Cita explained. The woman in the stormtrooper shirt sigh and shook her head.
"Both factions have tried to avoid taking trouble to the University, since at times members of both factions go here, there is a Technocrat in this dorm right now I assume it is him you want but seriously if you attack him soon I will have Men in Black at my door and that would royally suck so can't you all just go back where you came from...or go speak with the Preco or something?"

Serge sauntered up to the desired wall, the one that stood directly below his previous drawing. He was slightly glad that he didn't need to draw on the floor again and could now use his pencils.

You got your drawing done. Down on the second floor you found Julia, Miss White, Henrietta and Cecilia talking, the hedge wizards looked over at you when you came over, Cecilia and Julia curtsy, the other two did not.
"Good evening Mr Yager."
Henerietta said politely then the women went back to talking.

[Streets of Boston]

Colin frowned, "Yes, so he is... I'd just like to know for certain whose tool..."

"Probably the Nephandi."
Freddy said darkly.
"But I guess it is not a thing one should discuss to loudly without proof."

He grimaced, "Well, now, the zombie army idea does have some disadvantages. Detection, Jhor, and worst of all, the mopping. Zombies decay, you know, and the bits they drip leave dreadful stains if you don't get it all cleaned up right away..."

"That is true I guess, still zombie armies are cool and you could have one of just skeletons you know."
Freddy said with a grin.
"Necromancers makes for great characters in games. But I guess the Jhor would be a bitch in real life. That is the nickname for you know, the Death Taint or the Necromancer's Bane."

He smiled wryly, "Luv, I could do pretty horrible damage to an old vampire, with very little effort."

"Opening a portal to where it is sunny, an effective weapon it is a nasty weakness they have but I bet an angry Mentor with a now Avatarless apprentice might be less...quick in their response."
The young technomancer replied.

He frowned as he rolled into the parking lot, "Alright, Luv, this is it. This is where we start plucking apart Jace's accomplishments, one creation at a time..."

Freddy had turned rather pale, but she got a determined look in her eyes.
"Yeah...let us go piss in his cereal for a change."
She muttered.
"We will not let the Nephandi have anything, not a single thing and all they do we will undo."
She declared as she got out of the car and looked up at the ugly factory building.
"Yeah...let's do this love...before I loose my nerve."

He smiled thinly, "I know. In fact, I'll get acquainted with a Necromancer friend of Dr. Lee's soon. He'll be trying to help her... clean up her Resonances. It will be slow going, but I think he can do it, given time. Not completely, given her line of work, but enough to push back the worst side effects of it."

He smiled thinly, "Opening a portal to let all the sunshine through - that's the quick and simple variant. I have a more precise tool for the job - my little, er, laser pointer. Consider how slowly one could work with that. Not, of course, that I would use it for torture; I devised it to strike with pinpoint accuracy; a head shot in a crowd sort of thing, without collateral casualties. But I am quite aware it could be used to torment a vampire for an extended period of time, instead of killing them quickly with a hit to a more... vital spot."

Colin smiled wryly, "True enough. Should've warded the car before heading out, I suppose..."

It is a good habit to have. After you taught me your scrambler I usually put it on my car when I go out."
Freddy said.
"I have made an app of it."

"Ah yes I have seen her around the Chantry...she is a Hermetic is she not? So she is a necromancer? That is pretty cool. Do you think Dr Lee will be able to help her fix her Resonance?"
The Virtual Adept asked.
"She seams pretty nice though I have to admit to not even knowing her name."

He smiled thinly, "Opening a portal to let all the sunshine through - that's the quick and simple variant. I have a more precise tool for the job - my little, er, laser pointer. But I am quite aware it could be used to torment a vampire for an extended period of time, instead of killing them quickly with a hit to a more... vital spot."

The young Technomancer was quiet for a while then she sigh.
"I...hope that if I was ever in such a situation I would not fall for the temptation to hurt someone back, but if I had an apprentice, and if I survive one day I will probably take one, and someone turn them into a vampire...I would find it hard to be my best self. It is like with Technocrats...I try hard not to hate after what they did to me, I do not want to be the hateful, bitter person, but it is hard not to, they held me captive and experimented on me, it is not easy to forgive that."
She muttered bitterly.
"But yes I can easily imagine a Mentor going overboard if their student have been seriously hurt.

He grinned as he locked the car, "That's the spirit, Luv. Let us indeed piss in the damned ghost's cereal. And while we're at it, swap out all his good ales with Bud Lite."
He came around the car and offered Freddy his arm, nodding toward the building's entrance, "Shall we, then?"

"Indeed Wallace Jace can not have nice things...or nice ale, lets go Pac Man on his ass."
Freddy said and she accepted your arm and nodded.
"Yes let us go..."
She said though she was still pretty pale.

[Westchapel]

You got up to the Chantry, a Hermetic you think is named Ruby Wellerbrick is standing guard by the door, she is a short, stocky woman with fire red hair and wearing sturdy pants with lots of pockets and a cammo top under a dark gray coat.
"Hey Mr Wainwright was it...Miss...ehm...Adlebloom? You guys are from Steelhaven right? Just go right in."
Ruby said with a smile.
"Thank you Miss...is is Wellerbrick right?"
Freddy said and Ruby nodded.
"Yeah that is it."

[Third Floor]

Anja wrote:You got your drawing done.

"Good evening to you all as well." he said politely, saying nothing more and letting the women continue their conversation.

He approached the wall that was directly below the point he had drawn on the third floor. Getting a feel for the best place to place the picture, he began to draw again. He pulled out some color pictures from his room through his pockets and began to draw.

This time he drew a hooded figure in a blue robe wielding some sort of mysterious blue magick. A character named Jace who embodied a style of magick he was most familiar with in MTG card game. Rather than being a devious trickster outright Jace specialized in illusions and was often touted as the greatest telepath in the MTG multiverse.

One part of the ward was illusions and causing any ward breaker to see that their magick had worked on all the barriers protecting the chantry rather than just his. Making them believe that they had succeeded in their goals. By adding Jace and the abilities he possessed into his chain of characters, he hoped to enhance this power in the ward.

After he was done with the drawing he went to the ground floor.

(OOC: Next stop, Ground floor. The center point should be in the hallway between point D and K.)

Colin grinned, "It's a convenient little trick."

"Oh it is indeed."
Freddy said.
"That it limits my ability to access the web while it is on is a issue but it is still pretty practical.

He nodded, "I don't think he'll necessarily be able to 'fix' it all; sort of like how you wouldn't expect to clear up all residual radiation from a power plant while it is operational. but I think he's going to be able to help at least ameliorate the condition. "I have only met her in the hallways a few times, she is from one of the Chantries outside of Boston itself but still a part of this Tribunal."
Freddy replied.
"I hope Dr Lee is able to help her, I hear Necromancers often die from Jhor...or they go Marauder or become so lost that their allies have to end them or they attract the Nephandi and Fall."

He nodded, "Don't try to hurt the monsters, just stop them from ever hurting others again..."

"Agreed."
Freddy muttered darkly.

[Westchapel]

He nodded with a smile, "Been expecting us, Miss Wellerbrick? If you'd be so kind as to let Dr. Hadermann know we're coming up? Oh, and do you know if the consignment of blood from the pediatric cardiologist has arrived?"

"I was told to expect you yes and I will run up and let the Primus know Mr Wainwright...it have in fact Dr...oh what is is name Alvarez? Something like that is still here he arrived about fifteen minutes ago."
Ruby informed you.
"Ok I will let Dr Hadermann know you are here then unless you needed anything?"
The young Hermetic asked.

[Second Floor]

"Good evening to you all as well." he said politely, saying nothing more and letting the women continue their conversation.

Henrietta gave you a smile then they continued discussing the position of hedge wizards in the Traditions and what could be done to alleviate the unfairness most of them experienced daily

He approached the wall that was directly below the point he had drawn on the third floor. Getting a feel for the best place to place the picture, he began to draw again. He pulled out some color pictures from his room through his pockets and began to draw.

You got your drawing done without interrupting through Cecilia looked at you drawing on the wall with a bit of shock in her eyes but she did not comment.

After he was done with the drawing he went to the ground floor.

You got to the first floor, Dion and a young Orphan by the name of Lily Gray, a most unfortunate name now a days stood talking. Miss Gray was Tane's protege, he could not yet take an apprentice but he was watching over the young Orphan girl. Around the feet of the two women Charlie was playing, the puppy ran over to you when he saw you and wagged his tail and barked happily.
"Sorry Mr Yager I will take him."
Dion said as she ran over and lifted the little dog into her arms.
"No barking at the nice Cultist now Charlie."
She said sternly, something that got her face mercilessly licked.

(OOC: That seam about right.)
(OOC 2: The hedge wizards are plotting for equality, what is next they want to end slavery in the Traditions, say it is not so. Razz )

"Are you a Hermetic? Or a Chorister with the voice thing?" The young woman asked you.

"Well, I am not a Jesuit heading to the local chapel," he replied with a faint smile. "Yourself?"

"An understandable concern. Perhaps together we can reduce the likelihood of that happening? Would that we could leave, yet we cannot, the situation is too dire."

"Well, I am not a Jesuit heading to the local chapel," he replied with a faint smile. "Yourself?"

"Well we have more than enough of those here."
The woman said with a bit of a chuckle then she replied.
"I am of the Verbena Tradition."

"An understandable concern. Perhaps together we can reduce the likelihood of that happening? Would that we could leave, yet we cannot, the situation is too dire."

"Well it is not like I alone can stop you nor do I have a particular desire to get in your way."
The young Verbena replied.
"Miss I am Master Cita Telar bani Virtual Adept and please believe my friend when he says that the situation is most dire, do you know the Technocrat living here?"
Cita said and the young woman in the stormtrooper shirt hesitated then she bowed.
"I am Sally Glendale bani Verbena Apprentice of Master Amare Toure of Chantry Moongrove and know and know, I am fully aware of the Protocols so it is not like we are friends but I know who he is."
The young witch said and Cita nodded.
"I do not want to put you in any danger Miss Glendale, but know this is of utmost importance, would you consider introducing us to this young Technocrat or at least staying out of our way when we go to see him?"
At this Sally hesitated.
"I...well I can at least stay out of your way."
She said with a sigh.
"And then look for a new place to live as this will no longer be safe and my Chantry is to far from school really, the commute would be a pain."

[Streets of Boston]

Colin grinned, "Well, it is a concealment spell. Who would expect a Virtual Adept to hide offline?"

"Who indeed, but it is a little claustrophobic, I do need my internet access but it makes traveling by car allot safer."
Freddy replied with a what can you do shrug.

[Westchapel]

He smiled, "If that's Dr. Acevedo you refer to, yes, that's the man..."

"Yeah...that is the name."
Ruby said.
"Anyway he is here..."

"She went back in time? I don't know what impress me more that she would donate blood or that she went back in time...good kid."
Freddy said then her expression soured.
"It more concern me that she did not contact you though love...it indicate there are things she would be to tempted to tell you about the future if she saw you."
She whispered.
"And that might not be good."

He turned back to Ruby, "No, I believe we're good - I only ask that I'll be allowed to hold Freddy's hand while the operation goes on. Also, I have that recommendation Dr. Hadermann requested."

"I will deliver the message and man we have allot of guests for whatever is going on, Heasha Morninglade is here she is this big shot Verbena, said to be the best healer in the Traditions and the youngest Archmage...anyway I will head up to the Primus then, make yourselves at home."
Ruby said as she held the door open for you and Freddy and headed upstairs.
"Should we wait down here love?"
Freddy asked and she sounded a little concerned.

"Don't worry. Technically I have permission." he said noticing Cecilia's shocked glance. "And even if I'm mistaken, its in pencil and easily removed."

"I...am sure you know what you are doing Sir."
Cecilia said quickly and she looked down.

[Ground Floor]

"It's all right. I like the attention." he said with a smile. "Besides, how could anyone get mad at a happy face like that. How's it going Charlie? Seen anything cool lately?" he said petting the puppy happily.

When you said his name Charlie barked happily again then he went on to lick your hand and wiggle his tail enthusiastically. Dion smiled a little at that.
"Well he is a little sweetie Sir...as long as he is not bothering you."

[Westchapel]

Colin smiled thinly, "I am... aware that I might only have some twenty years with you - though I do hope I get a bit more than that. Freddy sigh and she nodded and leaned her head against your chest.
"Try at least to avoid going away Colin...if you must, if there is no other way I will accept it but at least try to stay with me."
She whispered then she squeezed you in a gentle hug.
"And at least we can make every moment of those twenty years matter eh...many never get that much...but I hope for longer...allot longer."

He arched an eyebrow, "Morninglade... That rings a bell..."

"Yeah there is this power play in the Verbena between her and the Prima, both where the apprentices of Prima Nightshade, or so I heard."
The young Hermetic explained.

He shook his head, "Ah, no matter, I'm sure I'll remember where I have heard it before. Godspeed, Miss."

Ruby nodded before she headed of.

He nodded to Freddy, "We'll wait here... Perhaps we'll meet someone interesting, too."
